Retired aerospace engineer. Chem. Engrg. UW MAdison '61. Lived in Los Angeles 1961-1995, escaped to Las Vegas area. Republican and conservative. I believe in conservation, thriftiness, self sufficiency, honesty and helping others. I also believe in smaller government because no matter what they do they screw it up, and are not accountable nor need to show effectiveness of our $$ spent. When I was a kid we grew everything under the sun in SE Wisconsin. I am fairly knowledgeable about most things scientific. Being 70, I remember much of the history of our country and the world since WWII.

Hobbies / Interests

My interests are science (climatology, physics, the natural world), collecting antique American household and kitchen gadgets, and politics to a degree.I also love the great documentaries on TV such as Planet Earth, The Blue Planet, The Human Body and many more. I watch only a few channels out of the 100's offered, Science, National Geographic, Discovery, History, Animal Planet, Travel, Weather, Fox, CNN and the new Green Channel. There is terrific stuff offered today.
