Sept. 2, 2006, 9:56 p.m.Today I read that the Kurds have taken down the Iraqi flag, and raised their Kurdistan flag. We have to do something. Bring in negotiators that are neutral. (Maybe try Mandella, who got through to Qadhafti). Sit the Sunni's, Kurds, Shia's down and make a proposal. Three states, maybe, with one nation. The oil wealth to be shared equally among the states. The Kurds to the North, and the Shia's to the South, already have the oil. The Sunni's have nothing. Better bring them in as full partners, or nothing will ever be resolved. Let them have their state in the middle. All states participate in the nations policies. I'm certainly no 'genius' on foreign affairs, but can't think of anything else that will work. As equal partners, the Sunni's might just take it.
