Rep. Nancy Pelosi publicly and repeatedly pledged before November's election that if Democrats won a House majority and she became speaker they would treat Republicans with respect and comity and would foster bipartisanship. Instead, three weeks into a session in which the strong-willed Pelosi has rammed through important legislation and major

It is strange how the media has been gushing over Mrs. Pelosi in ramming her agenda through the House. The same media that was deriding the Republicans for doing the same thing!

its not that funny if you consider the quality of the agenda. when the agenda is in favor of america as a whole instead of the top two percent, when the agenda favors reason over knee jerk reaction, when the agenda favors peace instead of war, employment for the country instead of short term profits for a couple of good ole boys,

it's really not that strange. if it's strange to you it's only because your fears, your contempt for your fellow americans, your blind following of a party that would have us all in jail, makes it that way

Peace is a very idealistic goal. I believe in peace, peace through superior firepower.

The top two percent, are you referring to taxes? If you are, how fair is it if the top two percent pays more than 35% of the taxes? Shouldn't everyone pay the same percentage of their income in taxes? Why do you feel that if I make $100 in income the government should take $50 of it while a person who makes $10 should keep all of it? Why don't we BOTH pay the same percentage of our income?

I do not follow the Republican party blindly. I critize them when they are due.
