I get around a lot in the so-called 'black neighborhoods' of Pittsburgh, PA, and I have yet to hear anyone raise this issue. My question is this:
Has our country - presently known as "The Homeland" - fallen to such depths of absolute partisanship as to require voting expectations to be based on ancestoral ethnicity, rather than the issues challenging us, or is this just an early dirty trick of those who would squander all to justify their fading suport of the Bush administration?
I am at pains to imagine a sadder question.

Well, as an African-American who actually lives in a so-called "black neighborhood" - simply put - Obama and anyone else can't take the "black vote" for credit anymore. As an African-American female, I have to ask the question - am I really going to fare any better under the administration run by this individual simply because he's black or bi-racial?
And where is it written that having a bi-racial pedigree makes him a better candidate than anyone else. He could be full of self-loathing and self-hatred as...Justice Clarence Thomas.
Personally, unless I see something better than the color of his skin - I'm voting for Hillary Clinton. You never even heard of Obama until the last Democratic National Convention...absolutely Nothing!
