Barak Hussein Obama pretends to be a centrist, but his voting record in the Illinois State Senate, and the U S Senate is liberal. He is against the death penalty. He supported an education bill in Illinois that would have provided sex education for five year olds. He is a cut, and runner, and he expects us to believe that even though his Grandfather, Father, and stepfathe were all Muslim, he is Christian. He wants us to except the fact he has a radical Muslim brother, but he is Christian. That is a bit of a stretch.

anickly ... you're one sick puppy.
"If I'm talking about the issues that matter to people, if we do a good job in letting people know who I am and what I stand for, they'll make their judgment not based on my race, but based on how well they think I can lead this country," - B. Obama
There is nothing more to be said. The question, I believe, that should be being asked is this/ Is he white enough?

From the article: "Debra J. Dickerson, a black author and essayist, broke the "not black enough" debate into the open in salon.com, last month, arguing Obama would be the great black hope for president, except he isn't black." Saw her on the 'Colbert[SP?] Report' stating this theme and saw some of the same type of question raised today when Tavis Smiley hosted a Black American gathering on CSPAN. On stage there, Jesse Jackson didn't seem to have any problem with O's blackness or not of the right kind.

Also saw the Senator on all the 24-hour news networks including Fox give his pretty good speech in Springfield today Live. Fox didn't really beat him down afterwards but they are probably looking for other Democratic candidates to do just that in this "Blood Sport" as CNN termed politics on their after coverage. CSPAN, as always, had the best and most comprehensive coverage and is in my opinion the 'network of record' on politics. Right or left callers both alike thank CSPAN every time they get on to make a comment.

Of course he's going to alienate SOMEBODY! He is not a saint. This country is in a leadership crisis and he may be the best single candidate to put this nation back on its historical leadership rail. Political infighting may sink his hopes but there is nobody more dedicated to truth, justice, and the "American" way. What say you sir anickly?

Barak Hussein Obams is too liberal to be elected in the General election. And Hillary will pillory him if he gets anywhere near her in the polls. Today she polled among Democrats at 61%, Edwards at 15%, and Obama at 13%. The campaigns are just starting, and it is pretty well conceded that Hillary will be nominated Democrat Presidential candidate in 08. She has all the money, and like it or not money is the mothers milk of politics. It is interesting to watch the first woman to be a frontrunner, and the first formidable black person making a run for the W H. It will be nice when they can run as people not a gender, or color.

"There is nothing more to be said." Sorry, but that is neo-comm nonsense. There's a great deal more to be said, and aniokly is completely correct that Osama Obama has a VERY liberal voting record. THAT is what is important, not any feel-good, self-serving statements Osama Obama may make.

Well ... I suppose we can ramble on and on about being too liberal, too conservative, on and on about too much political baggage versus not enough experience. Having a "Liberal" voying record, sorry, a VERY liberal voting record is no more a liability than not voting to end an undeclared "War"'
Show or name a politician that does not make feel-good, self-serving statements and I shoud be able to show you a tail wagging a dog.

If you think a Liberal voting record is of no importance, ask Al Gore, and Hanoi John. This country could elect Rudy Giliani, even with a social liberal bent, because he is fiscally Conservative. His personal liberal views never came out in his leadership in NY. He cleaned up N Y, and made it possible for tourists, and citizens not to need that "special $10. bill to keep muggers from roughing you up when you were mugged. He will defend this country, and has a full understanding of National Security, unlike the cut, and run Democrats. Rudy will be our next President.

There are so many things to say about RG and why he isn't the best person to be president or even to be the best Republican candidate so I will just suggest one. What about all the body parts that were just discovered in NYC from the 9/11 clean-up. He was in charge of that too not just smiling on camera. His camera smile is his best attribute. But then they all can at least do that.

What the hell is this crap about if the dude is "Black" enough. Listen, this guy is just what the Afrikan-Amerikan community needs to change direction. It's about time that we have leaders that don't come from a background of entitlement, bling, and defeatism.
Speaking as someone who is also partially Afrikan Amerikan, I would rather have him be reflective of who I am as compared to Al Sharpton, Jesse "what the hell am I saying" Jackson.
Nobody gave this type of grief to Colin Powell, who like Barack, didn't come from an ancestry of slavery. What makes Barack different?
