He so consistently votes against widely popular bills, in fact, that the Washington Post recently gave him the moniker "Congressman 'No.'"

Ron Paul has withstood the "pounding" of standing for principle. The Libertarian Party is withstanding the test of time for the same reason.
Should anyone be interested, go their web site & check it out; many people are & are voting their consciences as proof of affecting enough congressional elections in '06 to get the Dems in power. They're no longer voting the "fear vote", that being - if you vote for (blank) 3rd party candidate then (so & so) will win. Libertarians didn't care this elections & the Reps are feeling pain... they left the principles. Ron Paul doesn't.
