  I don't think it's the business of government to define anything... let alone marriage..

  just a trial balloon to see if it can be a hot button item in '08.....

  This dude makes me sick with his flip-flopping. When he ran for governor, he was down with the idea. Now that he's running for president, he's against it.

  Like Will, I don't think the government should be in the business of regulating marriage anyway. You can't say that you're for personal liberty, when you say who can and can not be married.

  Personally, I think gays should be allowed to get married. I feel that everyone should have a chance at being blissfully miserable

  This is his position on the matter for this week. Next week, and in the coming months, he'll need to appeal to a broader base and we can expect the slick switch to a more moderate Romney. We've seen this from him before; he cynically expects that we aren't paying any attention to policy consistency and that our memories are too short to notice the flip-flopping. Good looks and money don't change the emptiness of his public statements.
