Among the Republican field, Fred Thompson -- who hasn't even announced his intent to run -- has passed onetime leader Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

Dem - Rep either way the legal working American person loses.

They should have a voting square for none of the above.

There is no best canadiate, you only look for the one who is not the worst and when you have this many BAD apples to choose from, it can make a person wonder which one is the least wormy-est.

And if they really wanted everyone to vote, everyone with a 100% voting record for that year would get a added tax deduction off their taxes.

I don't think McCain ever has had a lead over Giuliani. A Thompson, Giuliani ticket (or vice-versa) would be tough for Dems to beat.

I don't get the Hillary or the Obama thing??? Two junior senators, no real track record. They haven't done much. Why are they the front runners for the dem's. Some of the other dnc runners have been around and have done much more then these two bozo's.

I don't know why I care?? whats wrong with me?

They won't win anyway. the country is much safer with a republican and everyone knows it.

Still waiting for Gore to throw in his ticket myself.

In one week Gore could be a front-runner.

Ok, I am afraid to ask this question. Could someone explain to me why they feel Hilary hasn't proven that she could be the president. It appears to me she has been fighting for all the proper things, better conditions in the military, equal rights, GI bill, fiscal responsibility, health care, .... I don't think there is a better candidate. I just think you all don't want HER because she is a SHE. Those neocon rep brains want to use the military. According to them Billy was a bad president, because he took a low profile militarily except for Kosovo and Somalia. These where probably his biggest mistakes, but I am not sure. GW is like a bull in a china closet. Send in the military and shake things up. "Maybe we can make Iraq a democracy." Take there oil and rebuild after we destroy them generating wealth for American industry. We had a better shot at this by leaving Saddam alone.

I think you and a minority of the country still believes that...I certainly don't it's just another platitude which has no real basis or proof, but I know you guys like to say it...it's pretty much all you got left after Bush destroyed your party and whatever it was you guys stood for.

No, we're not out of good candidates.

When Condoleezza Rice announces her candidacy, I'm going to support her all the way to victory.

She'll be our first woman president and our first black president all at once.

If Condi runs, I'll vote for her, shes great. She has more experance in her little finger then all the dems put together.

Shes smart, witty, beautiful and has a good temperment.

            She'd be perfect.
