So the Populist Party, the party of David Duke is having a hissy fit about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and now wants her impeached cause she hasn't impeached Bush, is that about right?
Again ye have to have a "CHARGE" of something that is real, criminal and PROVABLE in order to start impeachment. 7 years and ya got nothing on Bush and ya got nothing on Pelosi now, don't know about the future.
Here's a thought, how bout running and electing a candidate that agrees with you.
BTW David Duke is not a good choice for you, no mater how much you agree with him he's not electable nation wide.

remember when lawyers and tow truck drivers used to be the people's occupations you hated most???
politics/politicans give new definitions, and every year it gets worse.
I wonder if America will ever have an exceptional politican again, or if we will ever even realize a potential, since we are so mistrusting now. (rightfully so)

Is Impeachment all you malcontents can think about? It is not easy to impeach someone. You cannot remove someone from office, because they disagree with you. We hold elections every two years. If you disagree with your Representative, vote them out. If you reserched your candidates better, you would not elect so many incompetents.

a) politicians in government hardly represent the people. i seriously doubt that any representative or president actually got votes of more than 50% of all the voting-age public. it's a sham.
b) impeachment is a must because it's about restoring the rule of law and the Constitution.
Sadly, that doesn't mean much to people in power these days. Pelosi included.

What does it mean to "represent the people". That's incredibly vague. The American population is made up of individuals, it is not a collective mind. Everyone has their own thoughts/opinions. I believe that justice is objective, perhaps you do too. But what about a guy that thinks differently from you? How does a leader represent "the people" when nobody thinks exactly the same way?

Wow! What kind of math is that? 50% is a big number in politics.
Pelosi, as much as she would like to be "Dictator for Life", is stuck with the Blue Dog Democrats who do give a rats behind for the agenda of the radical left, in fact they are embarrassed by what the Democratic party has to endure to stay together. The Blacks just want a place at the table and seating preferences to make sure the TV camera sees them.
For now, the radical left and the various other socialist and communist elements do not have a chance in hell without Black support. The left puts in most of the money and gets the least to show for it.
The only way the left can lead and control is to pull out. This will leave the Blacks in a void and they will be forced to follow in a pure support role. The other elements, cut off from the Left's money, will follow suit. Behold, the New Democratic party with veto control over parochial interest.
This will cost 1 election for the New Dems, no more!

You can't impeach someone you just elected... you can just make better choices next time. Ralph Nader was right, after all, about voting Democratic, wasn't he?
Ban all paid political advertising. We need to know if our candidates can reason before we elect them. Let them expose themselves to us to get elected. Let them raise as much money as they want, but prohibit spending on advertising or P.R. (image-making). Lobbyists would have to spread their money around more evenly when it is not a foregone conclusion who will be the winner. You might complain that advertising is a First Amendment right, but a case can be made that banning political advertising would encourage speech, punditry, editorializing and the parrticipation of the electorate in the debate. Elections are getting to be too much like Reality TV voting. In France, each candidate was given an equal 45 minutes of TV time.
Why were third-party candidates excluded from the corporation controlling the debates?

absolutely. And it shouldn't matter if it's Bush, or Cheney, or Pelosi, or any of them....
All we hear from these politicians are excuses as to why they won't impeach, why they won't end the war, why they had to restrict habeas, why they won't repeal the patriot act and on and on and on.
When is enough going to be enough?

Someone should heed their own advice.
