How did so many Americans, especially members of Congress, come to view as normal giving one public official seemingly limitless powers to plunge the nation into war? And how did Americans come to accept a foreign policy of permanent war or warlike conditions, the trademarks of an imperial president?

One person did not Plunge the nation into war. Democrats, and Republicans in Congress, you remember Congress, right, voted for the War Resolution. The UN Security Council voted for the permission to invade Iraq. There were 37 other countries that joined in invading Iraq. So read the news some times, Comics won't do.

You are right. Bush and his henchmen lied in order to get what he wanted. Nothing new there. Wake up unless you are in the top one or two percent Bush isn't helping you.
