Well, well, well. And it looks like the telecommunications companies went along. But not QWEST. How ironic that right after telling the feds NO, QWEST lost a $200 million $$$ contract, and its CEO was charged with insider trading. Actually, I'm being facitious. These freaks are viscous, and they need to be stopped! Americans need to wake up from the security that this country has offered them all their lives, and realize there is a band of thugs taking it over!

Looking at US election, I see few real debates, only "slogans" (and even those aren't that good).
I can't believe candidates comming out AND being proud of how many millions of dollars campaign money they got.
How can they afterwards do "good" government "of the people, by the people and for the people". They govern "of the few privileged, by the money and for the big companies".
And talking about slogans and real debate:
I still remember how after the debate between Gore and GWB, I was sure Gore would win. He was the only one who knew what he was talking about, who's answers were real to the point answers and did made sense. GWB never gave a real answer to the questions. ....and .... he won????

But most being better is a important fact. Why are Americans so afraid of trying systems that work in other countries?
Because they (well, most) have no idea how it is in the rest of the world.
Americans (US) for the most, only watch American TV, American programs, read American books and news.
The US education system (and TV) tells them they are the best.
e.g. European (foreing language) movies are not even dubt, they are (usualy) remade by an US studio whith American actors (I consider Schwarzenegger an American actor - lol).
So, they have the best films..
Compared to the rest of the (western) world) most Americans (well, working class american) have the worse deal in payd vacation. So they don't have time to travel abroad (exept for Mexico, Bahamas and West Indies), and realy visit other places.
So, if you are continuously told YOU have the best system, YOU have the best democracy, YOU have the most freedom, YOU are the leaders.... and you can't check or compare....

Yeah Yeah Yeah! NSA and FBI have been spying on the American public long before Bush. Bush is the first President to open his mouth about it. The standard practice was for British Intel to spy on US and US Intel to spy on Brits, then share info. This has been going on since WWII. Now all this documentation is inadmissible in court, however it does help find the next guy that is going to blow up something. As far as I can find, the Constitution does not guarantee privacy (I wish it did). Even the 4th amendment may or may not imply that. That is for the SC to decide. But keep in mind Bush, in another year, will no longer be your president, and if you think Socialist Hillary will stop the spying, you are in for a rude awakening.
