Well I guess the democats (hip dems) in South carolina were concerned about the circus like atmosphere Colbert would have attracted. Oh wait, it's already like that. Nevermind.

It is a shame Stephen is pushed out of the contest by the Democratic Electoral Council.

It was a not very democratic determination.

Colbert was one of the better options for us to vote for.

He is more fair and balanced than many others. He is intelligent surpassing the standards for a Commander in Chief at the present time.

Please, I'm glad there's a writers strike. Let's hear what Steve has to say about it.. Oh wait, he relies on those writers to come up with stuff 4 days a week. LOL.

No loss. Like I say, he's the "anti". We get no sincerity of his position, just sarcasm and jibes at the right. That does not a president make. Even if it's president of just one state.

The TV writers are on strike - so how can Colbert have anything to say?

It is a shame that When John Q. Public tries to run, that he has to buy into a political party. This two party system has been staging opposition against each other for decades, to make it look like they are working. They are one big happy family in secret. He has managed to get across just how bought the seats to congress and the presidency are. It is not a people's vote and hasn't been in a long, long time. I also do not think Colbert needs any writers for materials. He seems to be REAL!
