The Bush administration has covered up and ignored dissenting Pentagon war games analysis that suggests an attack on Iran's nuclear or military facilities will lead directly to the annihilation of the Navy's Fifth Fleet now stationed in the Persian Gulf.

This is very damning. From the article:

"The Bush administration is deliberately downplaying the vulnerability of the Fifth Fleet to Iran's advanced missile technology which has been purchased from Russia and China since the late 1990's. The most sophisticated of Iran's cruise missiles are the 'Sunburn' and 'Yakhonts'. These are missiles against which U.S. military experts conclude modern warships have no effective defense. By deliberately provoking an Iranian retaliation to U.S. military actions, the neoconservatives will knowingly sacrifice much or all of the Fifth Fleet. This will culminate in a new Pearl Harbor that will create the right political environment for total war against Iran, and expanded military actions in the Persian Gulf region."

There can no longer be any doubt the neocon Bush/Cheney junta is the absolute manifestation of evil. Looks like it's coming.... Cry Havoc, let slip the dogs of war.......

If they do that, they will have the wrath of Russia and Venezuela come down on us. But frankly, i don't think Bush will be satisfied until he has had the US nuked. This next year will be scary as hell.

Would be an excellent chance to execute his chance to exercise martial law and void any chance of electing anyone to stop him. Very scary indeed.

The Pentagon should war game the result of a declaration of martial law in America.

Hint: They don't have enough troops to enforce martial law, even if they recall every single U.S. soldier from every other country in the world.

Neither Bush nor Cheney nor any of their cronies care AT ALL how many AMERICANS die - let alone how many innocent people in other countries die.

They care ONLY for their 'agenda' - which, I have concluded, is nothing less than total power and total wealth - in other words, EVIL.

And most of the country, especially Congress, is letting them get away with it. Too many Americans are too self-absorbed into their own piddly priorities like when to buy a new car or what to wear to the movies or when to buy an HD TV.

Its the fall of the Roman Empire re-run, only this time it is America ...

Hey Bubba - I agree with most of your assessment, except that most of the Americans I know, myself included, are absorbed with how the hell they're going to pay for the rising cost of EVERYTHING - gas, food, heating bills, and survive the Holiday season.

Today, the lowest gas price I've seen is 3.04 and milk at the local grocery (2%) was 3.79. Minimum wage here is 6.85/hr.So it takes a minimum wage worker to work 1 hour to be able to afford a gallon of milk and ONE gallon of gas.

And meanwhile, the MSM concentrates on the machinations of the OJ Simpson debacle and how Dog the Bounty Hunter used the "n" word.

This is outrageous. Let's all send pretzels to the White House and hope the goon in the oval office does himself in.

Plenty more goons where he came from. That's the real tragedy.

Something to think about, there are some strange and silly comments in this thread, but!

If you look at the info on the guy who wrote the original story, he is a nut, the title "The Neoconservative Agenda to Sacrifice the Fifth Fleet : The New Pearl Harbor" is just a hint.

The wiki page on him, shows he is a UFO nut of the first order, who besides the story above also wrote to Al Jazeera in June 06 suggesting alien intervention in order to prevent a nuclear attack on Iran by the United States of America.

Yeah, the writer's kinda kooky, but he does have a point.

I may not be a naval admiral, so I fail to see the logic in putting an entire fleet within weapons range of anti-ship missiles that cannot be shot down or defended against. It seems pretty illogical if not outright sacrificial.

I know, it doesn't make any sense. i guess it would make too much sense to keep the fleet out of range before you start your attack. You'd think with our "air superiority" we'd just take out their Radar and missle defences, right?

Anyone feel like joining the Navy?

Destruction of the 5th fleet, probably sounds like "Cha Ching" to Bush and friends.
