Politics – Barack Obama real name Barack Hussein Obama is presently one of the favorite Democratic candidates for 2008 US Presidential election nominations. Born on 4 August, 1961, in Hawaii, Obama can be the first black and African American President of US because of his wide spread popularity among the people of US.
All those things that made Obama an unstoppable force began vanishing with the release of those hateful pastor clips. I'm sure Obama was hoping non-African American society would view them as "just words", but, instead, they began to demolish all the things that made him magical, such as the notion that he had transcended race, making it so other candidates would come off more racist if they opposed him on anything. But, then it was discovered that he had this really close, racist, America hating "Christian" preacher in his closet whom he said he never heard hateful, racist things from. It was as if the "crazy uncle" jumped out of the closet and ripped off Obama's mask, showing all that Obama was not only in close quarters with him, but, would even LIE about it, until a few days later.
NOW, Obama is blaming his fall on the biggotry of America, becoming, in essence, another Sharpton. But, one thing about Sharpton... he let's you know from the start that he's racist and hateful. Obama was just better at the deception.
Mutainia, where did the "blaming" come in? Obama attempted to expose his relation and position. Buy it or not, if it were me I'd throw it out there and expect you to be reasonable. All those things that made him unstoppable are still there, his message. If we stop claiming concerns about race while the Confederate Flags still fly in this country, a true deception, then we can look for a person up to the task of solving a recession or an endless/undefined war without regard to color. I am sure it bothers some to think about other than a White man representing this nation. Any excuse, even the pathetic association trick,will do. I have people with character flaws, compared to a perfect scale, and they may wonder about me . . . but unless I do something to break the law, I won't be prosecuted for their actions. If you don't like Obama say so, don't be phony about it. Obama's message is still great; when this depression hits, you'll wish without regard to race for relief.
I feel Obama has destroyed his chances of becoming President in 08. But, he's still young when it comes to this stuff, and, he has a LOT of potential. IF he can convince "racist America" that he isn't a hater, like his preacher is, that he can and WILL distance himself from a state of victim-hood and race hatred (like he was able to do until his preacher showed up), well, he could not only become President, but, possible achieve what the two "Reverends" could never do...bring the change within the black community that Bill Cosby would want.
