The CNN video didn't include what one of the voters said after they showed the dial tester results but they asked her what she thought and the voter said that she was especially watching McCain since he might be our nominee and she thought that McCain didn't look presidential and didn't present himself well at all.

CNN's Erica Hill said the voters also didn't like McCain because of his answers . . . they were snide and snarky.

I thought his answers also seem befuddled at times. I think he is getting feeble-minded, poor guy. Mitt had him on the ropes last night. If McCain can't handle Mitt, how in the world is he gonna handle Hillary or Obama?

Snide and snarky, that is SO McCain! He seemed a little full of himself, didn't he?

LMAO!

As they say, Pride goeth before a fall!

avatar

He seemed cocky, arrogant, and was mocking Romney, even to the point of telling Romney what Romney's positions on the issues were. He certainly feels he has the nomination wrapped up.

I will become a Democrat if McCain gets the nomination.

Did anyone notice that CNN seemed to almost exclude Dr. Ron Paul?

CNN, deary. It's a great cable news channel. Liberally speaking.

I was referring to the good doctor. ; )

Ditto. Although I just might write in Ron Paul. :)

I know someone from Sweden and we don't agree on anything politically! Or on alot of stuff. In fact the only reason were friends is because of a mutual friend!

Not a bad idea. Only been there once when in the service and loved the place but first and foremost I am American, so i'll just stay here.

Nope. An Independent but I really don't like McPain and Mitt is just to slick. Shrillery is in the pockets of Big Media, Phrama, and Obama is too too inexperienced.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock,

I'm a little McCain FlipFlop,

First I'm here, and next I'm there,

Don't be confused by my vote getting cares.

On lobby money I have taken my share,

Keating 5 was my first foray there,

Then when outted I changed my stance,

Now I stand firmly against campaign finance.

Next on votes I may stand here or there,

I have a record of voting with Democrats cares,

In fact you find that I'm quite a rouge,

You never know where I'll be when the wind blows.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock,

I'm a little McCain FlipFlop,

First I'm here, and next I'm there,

Don't be confused by my smoke screen smears.

And should we disagree, I'll dig my feet in and put up a fuss,

I am an angry man with Machiavellian gloves,

I hit my opponents from the front, then slice them from the rear,

All the time saying, My Friend, its just politics, not to fear.

On the Bush Tax Cuts I was against them for years,

Only 2 republicans voted against them to be clear,

But now I need votes and I see the error of my ways,

I am for the Tax Cuts as long as it pays.

On immigration I stood firmly with the left,

Free pass to immigration for tax paying illegals seemed to me best,

But now that Republican votes are my aim,

I can see more clearly the politics of border control game.

It may not appear that I have changed my position to support the wall,

As long as a vote never occurs for my senate immigration proposal.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock,

I'm a little McCain FlipFlop,

First I'm here, and next I'm there,

So don't be disappointed when you find me courting democrat cares.

The terrorists don't, but the illegals do. And if we open our borders, guess who will come skulking through...that's right, the terrorists.

Romney's dad was born in Mexico.

avatar
Reply

But he was the child of American citizens. The Romney family moved to Mexico because of new U.S. polygamy laws in 1884. Three generations later Mitt's dad was born, and the family returned to the United States. Mitt's dad, George, ran for the Republican Presidential nomination against Nixon in 1968.

Sorry, but thanks for playing.

avatar
Reply

So... Romney definitely has some leanings towards polygamy...

THREE GENERATIONS??? I guess that makes him mexican, and ready to "flip flop" once again!

Sorry, Dungeon Master, I rolled doubles, and just picked up an "In Your Face" card that says I get another turn!

avatar
Reply

If the Romney's weren't Mexicans those 3 generations in Mexico, were they illegals?

avatar
Reply

I think Smithichie stole your "In Your Face" card, earthlingerer!

LMAO!!!

avatar
Reply

No, I'm just wondering how you could be thre generations in Mexico, and NOT be considered mexican citizens, being born there, and all.

I didn't say they were illegal.

How dare he say what MY position is.... (chuckle)

I'm kind of glad to realize that all isn't as it seems, and that my great-grandkids will easily be able to go from the EU to the US in a hundred years and pick up all their familiies' stuff!

Apparently you don't understand how citizenship works. If you are born to American citizens, you are automatically an American citizen, even if you never set foot in the country for your entire life. And because you are a citizen, any children you have are also citizens, as will be their children. Get it?

As for your snarky little comment "I didn't say they were illegal", you know that was the impression you hoped people would get when you posted your original comment, which is why people tried to clear it up. You are trying to confuse things with smoke screens and red herrings, rather than debating and discussing issues and facts. Typical lib tactic.

avatar
Reply

No, Romney has come out and said that he doesn't believe in polygamy. He thinks it's morally wrong.

avatar
Reply

Yeah, I don't think having a Great-Grandfather who was a polygamist means you support or believe in something. Or else you have a lot of explaining to do for your ancestors views.

avatar
Reply

Yeah, clinton says he's against lying too!

avatar
Reply

I've noticed that Romney "comes out" and says everything he doesn't believe in, he either believed in before, or just said to get elected.

Really, where does he stand, and why is it so important that he keep lying and bending to get a mormon in the whte house?

What's the REAL agenda with this guy... right now, like the past, he's "just saying stuff".

avatar
Reply

Bigot.

avatar
Reply

((Romney's dad was born in Mexico.))

Good. Maybe we'll pick up some Hispanic votes.
