Limbaugh Continues To Attack McCain

Politics – Calling it his "non-concession speech," talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh launched a fresh round of attacks Wednesday on newly-minted GOP frontrunner John McCain the latest indication the Arizona senator is likely to witness a backlash from some conservative quarters as he seeks to wrap up his party's nomination.

He's usually one of the first to get the memo: "The GOP has ALWAYS liked McCain. We've never doubted him for a moment."

Or else (cue sinister music)...maybe Rush knows something we don't, something that insiders know. We'll find out more in a few weeks and see how Rush sounds if McCain locks up the delegates.

You only nod off if you do too much Abu! Maybe in this case a cigar really is just a cigar, but Rush wouldn't be able to make much of of living if he strayed to far afield from mainstream conservative thought. If he continues to go after McCain when the effect will be to depress electability, then some other horse might actually be in position to take this race.

Of course, Rush could simply be wrong. Surely that's happened at least once or twice. ;)

I have little use for Rush Limburger and not much more for McCain. If McCain wins the primaries and is the republican nominee for president I won't be voting republican. When I look at the democratic offerings, I may not vote democratic either!
