"Today, Santorum told conservative chatter Laura Ingraham, "If you're a Republican, if you're a Republican in the broadest sense, there is only one place to go right now and that's Mitt Romney."
Romney also landed Ingraham's endorsement today. That's not particularly a surprise either, as earlier this week, she told listeners that she was "concerned about the mental stability of the McCain campaign" and had cuckoo-clock sound effects accompany his words."

Mitts a good speaker. Hes a better flip flopper than Kerry. And he understands the future.
Here's what he said to the American Conservative Union in an interview...
"I saw the liberal future in Massachusetts, and it doesn't work. A conservative future is one in which America is strong and prosperous. Conservative governance is weaving the three strands of conservatism, economic conservatism, social conservatism, national security conservatism, together to lead America to a strong and prosperous future."
See, if we elect Mitt Romney, we can continue the policies that are now in place. That's the conservative future Mitt sees for America.
And his vision of 'strong and prosperous'?
More of the George W. Bush Conservative Revisionism.

You clearly know nothing about conservatism, as proved by your post. MOST conservatives consider Bush "liberal" and not nearly conservative enough. To think a true conservative like Romney would continue Bush's policies is to display a complete ignorance of all things conservative.

LMAO, Rick Santorum backing a candidate is like the kiss of death.. Who in their right mind would listen to this guy? He wrote a book that ranted about how women need to be in the kitchen..... It's what cost him his seat in congress in 2006. Well that and his Bigotry toward all non christians.

Lessee....Agnossis has almost run through all the available GOP presidential candidates to fawn over on Propeller. Romney had better have some staying power, otherwise poor AG will be forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel...... and fawn over Phred Phelps!

I listened to it when he announced it on Laura's show. She said, "I'll see your endorsement and raise you an announcement." lol, then she endorsed him. : )

I really hate that I missed her show yesterday. I'll have to visit her website and listen to it. I tell you AG, her endorsement means a lot to me. I have been listening to her show for years, and very much enjoy reading her books.
Thanks for the heads up.

I wouldn't beat yourself up about missing Laura.
The media is chock full of Right Wing 'Freakazoids' spewing their collective effrontery at our nation's more easily led masses.
I believe there are over 100 right wing talk radio hosts - each more offensive than the next.
And after all, the basic conservative has been lied to and abused for so long, the only thing that rouses them anymore from their mental and emotional stupor, is a string of controversial, in your face commentary.
It's like a drug, isn't it?

Rick Santorum, the guy who said if we let gays get married next thing people will be wanting to marry their chickens. and other brilliant statements. like:
"The idea is that the state doesn't have rights to limit individuals' wants and passions. I disagree with that. I think we absolutely have rights because there are consequences to letting people live out whatever wants or passions they desire."
:And if the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything. Does that undermine the fabric of our society? I would argue yes, it does. It all comes from, I would argue, this right to privacy that doesn't exist in my opinion in the United States Constitution."
-- Senator Rick Santorum, Republican from Pennsylvania, 2003

"I mean, you have people who don't heed those warnings and then put people at risk as a result of not heeding those warnings. There may be a need to look at tougher penalties on those who decide to ride it out and understand that there are consequences to not leaving." รข;;Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), Sept. 6, 2005 talking about the katrina victims
I'd rather not be endorsed than have the support of this ass

I dont see what's wrong with the Katrina comment. I mean what kind of idiot would stay behind when the president of the United States is telling you to leave because a big hurricane is coming. You have to be dumb to stay through something like that.
He is an advocate for personal responsibility which most of the Katrina victims dont have. I remember when my house got stuck in a mud slide. No one helped us. We helped ourselves. You gotta wonder how America would still be here if we had to rely on the government for everything.

yeah, I'm all about personal responsibility. however he suggested punishing those people (the survivors) in order to make them understand. was he really so unaware of what happened that he thought the point had been drilled home. that they hadn't suffered for failing to get out?
and lets not forget the rows and rows of school buses just sitting there in the flood. many poor people in a city don't own cars because you don't it to get around. (I can afford a car but don't because t isn't necessary in the city) clearly the local govt had failed its people by not using available mass transit to evacuate people.

I think the one thing I like most about Mitt, is that he's actually been out in the real world and knows how to make a business run and make a profit. We really need a business sense minded person in the office right now.

Yes, he has been in the real world, and done some
good...
But his nonchalance with Bain capital in its' "investments" and an all-to-common business plan:, takeover, layoffs, selling, in some cases more than $100 million in capital, then a wonderful descent into bankruptcy - as in AmPad's case, and quite a few others.
That's "good business" or "suck-cess", I guess.
As everyone likes to mention, Bush has an MBA from some ivy-league school. It's been doing a lot of good, huh?
