With confidential documents, corroborated by outraged former and current U.S. officials, David Rose reveals how President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and Deputy National-Security Adviser Elliott Abrams backed an armed force under Fatah strongman Muhammad Dahlan, touching off a bloody civil war in Gaza and leaving Hamas stronger than ever.

George never has had a back-up plan has he.

It is a very comprehensive, recent history of the Palestinian/Isaeli conflict. Secret meetings, alignment with one Palestinian party over the other. Making sure OUR interests come before all others.

Hamas was never supposed to win in the elections---I remember that. The world was on fire for a few days wondering how that happened. And guess what??? No plan B.

    A good read.

I had heard rumors about this a while back, but nothing had ever been confirmed like this piece does. Not surprising to see Elliot Abrams involved in it. You can pretty much rest assured that anything he is involved with equals BAD news...

Elliot Abrams is bad news - it is incredible to think that Bush appointed someone convicted of lying to Congress to the NSC. BUT, he is only one of the many problems created by letting zionists run our foreign policy in the middle east.

        God vs. Elliott Abrams

Do No Evil â;; Appointing a zionist like Abrams to the National Security Council's Arab Israel portfolio has been a total failure for both the US and Israel. His effect on America's reputation and position in the Middle East has been uniformly negative.

Even Israelis are fed up with the extremist right-wing ZionCons in the Bush administration.

        Good Morning, Hamas

Do No Evil â;; We Israelis live in a world of ghosts and monsters. We do not conduct a war against living persons and real organizations, but against devils and demons. Those who did not want the PLO, got Hamas. If we don't come to terms with Hamas, we shall be faced with more extreme Islamic organizations, like the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Incompetence. The one word to describe this administration whether it's about Iraq, Palestine, our economy or natural disasters, this administration has fallen flat on its collective face time and time again. The President's capacity to think through problems is no longer suspect but shown to be woefully indadequate. He has a knack for choosing the wrong options to the detriment of this country.
