Rep. Steve King: If Obama wins, terrorists will be dancing in the streets »
Posted By mmelody2 7 months, 1 week ago in NewsWell, Rep. Steve King thinks so. I agree actually, especially with some of the statements that came out after the 2006 election when the Democrats won both houses of Congress. I read this article, and have to say that I find his comments highly offensive. How swiftly the right-wing forgets that King Hussein of Jordan was one of our staunchest allies in the Middle East until his death a few years ago. The name "Hussein" is considered a high compliment in the Arab world. Senator Obama would make a fine President, no matter what Rep. King says. Though I do not support Senator Obama in his presidential bid, I would not disparage him so either.

His name is not his problem. His close associates,
Rezko, and Auchy, and Iranian, and a Syrian businessmen are his problem. Where he gets his money is his problem, and his association with Louis Farrahkan is another problem. Go ahead be offfended. The same Constitution that allows you to be offended, allows me to offend.

I must agree with anickly I think we need to take a real close look at Obamas association with the Islamic world. We have seen with Bush the problems with such associates can bring us. How else had the Bin Laden family leave the USA after 9/11. Obamas church is also not a church as far typical christian churches go. They honored Farrakan for his life acheivments. Now why would a christian church honor a man for spreading Islam. This is no christian church in my eyes.

George Bush has closer associates in the Arab (oil business) world than does Obama. Maybe, as his legacy, he could convince them to bail us out of our war debt (like they bailed him out of his personal debts): now THAT would be a positive accomplishment!

So, we should vote Republican because some punk-ass terrorists around the world might not like it (they might get scared they have to continue fighting)? You guys are paying too much attention to the wrong people. WE run this country not them.
