"This is a big -- bigger issue than Florida and Michigan," Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said on ABC's "This Week, with George Stephanopoulos" warning that a solution is needed to unite the party behind the Democratic presidential nominee -- whether it's Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York or Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois -- against the presumptive Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona. "The only thing that can beat us is that we're divided."

What will beat them is their decision to elect people who will not defend this country against enemies foreign, and domestic. But the Florida re do of their primary is a joke. They lose either way. The people who don't want to pay for the stupid decision not to count their delegates in the first place won't vote for them. Threre are millions. The Michigan re vote is worse, because it is mail in, and an open invitation for crossovers. Michigan has no party affiliation. Anyone can vote. So you will have Republicans picking up ballots, and voting for Hillary. It is a mess.

Both states are having a mail in revote? What a fiasco. How could they find themselves in such a mess? What were they thinking? I think if you cannot run your primaries, you cannot sucessfully run the country.

How true, reminds me of 2000 and the Florida vote fiasco, and the winner sure did not nor still doesn't know how to run the country does he

I think he is doing a far better job then Al Gore would have done. If he had won I would be wearing a Burqa today, and we would have those Mosques on every corner. Democrats must stop appeasing our enemies. We didn't start this war, but we will damn well well finish it without Democrats help.

We'll never know for sure, since it was the loser who took office.

As a resident of Michigan I find this to be total discimination of my rights as a voter. What a joke, what happens to the other candidates that are no longer running for office, is their vote going to be counted as a win for Obama or Hillary.

Right now Al Sharpton, and a couple of special interest groups are going to court to prevent a re do vote in either state. They found some legal loophole to prevent the second vote. If the Democrats have to fight for this in court it will be a disaster. The spotlight will be on their shortcomings for the entire summer.
