Rove, who was paid $40,000 to speak at the University, was confronted with an at-times hostile crowd of 1,000, and was interrupted on several occasions.

At one point during the speech, Rove reportedly lashed out at some of the students, saying, "You got a chance to ask

Cameras were only allowed to film the beginning of the speech.

What in the world possessed the administration to pay that crook 40,000$ to speak at their University? What could they have been thinking? GOOD GRIEF!

I couldn't agree more. What a waste of 40 grand. There's a lot the school could've spent that money on other than getting to hear Rove say his comments are stupid.

engineer:

I find it truly enlightening that Rove would call the students comments stupid before hearing them.

The one who was stupid here was Rove, he showed just what a foolish money grubber he is.

Wish I could have been there. I'd a asked him about the plans to invade Iraq before 9/11 ever occcurred.

The morons from this administration are abundantly greedy to a fault.

The President is either saying that he's number 1 or rotate on this, Rove.

I found this story to be spiritually uplifting.

Citizens appear to have been pushed past the breaking point of revulsion for the unrelenting partisanship and division sowed by this administration.

And Karl Rove can legitimately be called the 'architect' of it all.

My congratulations to those in attendance. You are truly patriotic Americans.

Thanks for finding and sharing this story engineer.
