"However, we all also know that Bush is not the most popular president the US has had, but at least he is trying to make an attempt."

Bush is hugely popular in Africa. He's done more to combat AIDs and help poor African nations than any other world leader.

it's all fine and dandy that bush has helped Africa, but mean while, the US's economy has gone downhill. He needs to remember that he is OUR president and that we have our own issues here to deal with.

Obama will really have to cross party lines here. Something I trust him doing more than Billary. His programs will cost much money. He needs to sit with men such as Forbes, and maybe even Mit, succuessful men of business and the dollar.Alot will lay on are trade politics also. They need to be better negoiated.

You know, I actually gave this a look until I read this:

"Africa...there is so much oil and natural resources in the country..."

Africa isn't a country. Credibility = zero.

"Africa isn't a country. Credibility = zero."

Gotta agree with you for a change. It happens on occasion ;)

The author's solution for oil addiction is to find more places to get a fix. No salvation for the economy in that. Next idea?

"Next idea?"

Increase domestic oil exploration and drilling while working toward less oil-dependent energy sources -- like Nuclear energy and fuel cells.

Ive got no problem with nuclear, solar and wind power...funny though ,EVERYTIME a utility company wants to build one every tree hugger comes out against it. For example Seabrook Nuclear plant in Nh, The Cape Cod wind project and the ocean tide project in Maine

What we should do is invade Liberia and have their leader hanged. Then steal all their oil.
