There is no "Black Nationalist scandal." Senator Obama'a standing in the polls wavered briefly after the news outlets ran saturation coverage of selected outtakes of Rev. Wright's sermons, but he has since rebounded and once again leads in the national polls.
The Democratic party will prosper if it heeds the vote of the people and nominates Senator Obama. He is indeed a vigorous and charismatic candidate. The contrast with tired old John McCain will be dramatic, and the Democratic victory in November will be just as dramatic, with increased majorities in both the House and Senate joining our new president in Washington. The time has come for CHANGE. That may disappoint people whose attitudes are still mired in the racial and class hatreds of the past, but it will signal a new rebirth of the American spirit, and a new dedication to freedom and prosperity for all.
