Politics – Be strong or show some emotion? Stick to policy or share your private life? Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton faces this challenge as she tries to become the first woman in the highest office in the land: how to appear human without appearing weak.
NO-BAMA-MANIAC'S
Look at the truth , no-bama is no gooder than a boot . He has lied so many times , that it rubed off on hillary some times. Now hammas leader , Marzook a terrorist group , associated with bin Ladden is in the mix , hollering , jumping up and down for the praises Rev Wright has spit about . Now 1 in 10 american's KNOW he has ties with some of the meanest terrorist guy's .
I feel like Hillary is damned no matter what she does. If she's too strong or aggressive I hear the B-word. If she gets emotional she's a fake. Her husband was a strong, centrist President. I know a LOT of Republican businessmen who were saying, "Ya know, Clinton has been good for business and good for the country." Shouldn't people expect the same from her?
My little girl is 8 and a tomboy. Relatives and teachers are constantly telling her to act like a lady, to be less aggressive. I like to point to Hillary and say, "No, baby, you be like her. You be anything you want to be."
I'm sure she is thinking about all that. Any woman running for president of the USA would have to.
But, that doesn't forgive her saying she was at the center of negotiating the Northern Ireland Peace Accord. The Nobel Laureate who actually DID do that begs to disagree. He says she was there, but as a member of her husband's delegation to witness it. He says she played no role in the negotiations.
Same goes for the flight into Bosnia. Hillary recalls a harrowing flight where everyone had to sit on flack jackets to avoid sniper fire. NBC's Andrea Mitchel was on the same flight, but she doesn't remember the flack jacket part. File footage shows Hillary exaggerated her resume here too, and actually was greeted by a little girl, whereas she said she had to run for cover under sniper fire.
I am sorry. I want to see a woman as president as much as any female out there. But not a habitual liar who either can't recall the truth or has no regard for it.
Why are all the Democrats screaming for Hillary to get out? Don't they want the votes of the voters in the next 10 primaries to count?
She cannot win the numbers she needs. It's an exercise in futility when the party can go on and rally around its candidate and prepare to engage the republican nominee.
"It's an exercise in futility when the party can go on and rally around its candidate and prepare to engage the republican nominee."
If the polls are to be believed, 19% of Obama voters and 28% of Hillary voters won't vote for the opposing candidate. And in the latter case, consider this:
http://barticles.mytimesdispatch.com/index.php/...
"As Yale's Ebonya Washington found out in a study a couple of years ago, Democrats are considerably more likely to bolt their party to avoid voting for a black candidate than Republicans are. As Washington Post columnist Richard Morin summarized her findings in 2006, "White Republicans nationally are 25 percentage points more likely on average to vote for the Democratic senatorial candidate when the GOP hopeful is black. . . . White Democrats are 38 percentage points less likely to vote Democratic if their candidate is black.""
I think it is sad how Americans can whith all the current problems in the US blindly follow these canidates without looking at the facts. I have become many neg. ratings on this site anytime I have printed FACTS, not rumors on the canidates plans and what they are donig.
I find this more so on the democratic side who are following thes canidates like they are the new Massiah, but I am sure on the Right side it will be the same before the main election.
If America is voting on the lines of color gender, or politish affiliation this election it will be the down fall of America. There is to much at stake. Examine these canidates and what they plan to do.
Do you believe we need to be taxed more? Well that is exactly what Obama and Hillary have plannned for you.
Do you believe we should send even more money to foriegn countries. Well look at Obamas web site. He plans to double our amount in foriegn aid.
DO you wish to have a health care system forced on you without you own decission. Well that is Hillarys plan.
If we leave Iraq then how and what do we do then? None of the canidates have a clear plan. Obama say in 3 months but has not even looked into the logistics if that is even possible and has not shown a plan on what is left to do except return when he sees that Al Q. is there.
Who has any real idea on the economy except Mitt who is the only one who has run a business, but is no longer in the race.
Voting against Bush is a dumb statement because we are rid of Bush this year and I do not cinsider McCain and Bush the same. McCain is far to liberal to be a Bush. But McCain has also ran a one topic campaign til now . The WAR.
Well Obama we know you were against it from the beginning. No longer in repeating that over and over again. McCain we know you were a war Hero and with all respect I thank you for your sacrifice for our nation.

I feel she has done a very good job of walking the tightrope. It has to be very difficult to be pleasing to everyone all the time. Being the first woman to really have a shot at the white house has to be a very big challenge for her emotionally. Sure she has flows like EVERYBODY, but that's what makes her human like it or not. Of course she can't please everybody. But you have to give her credit for her strength, most would have already thrown in the towel. That's one of the reasons I really believe she would make an Excellent President.
Hang in there Hillary and go all the way to the white house!
Yeah, she has a few flaws, like blatantly lying about her Bosnia trips, sticking with her philandering, sexual harassing, accused rapist of a hubby for her own political gain, and her behind-the-scenes racial rants and homophobic taunts. A real peach, that Hillary/
Awww...come on, libs...Maybe she really loves Bill. The rest is politics.
Did you know that she represents change, hope and democracy?
