Here is another little regarded fact. About that huge Texas win that "proves" Hillary is the stronger general election candidate? She won by just over 100,000 votes, but of those, 119,000 were Republican crossovers voting for Hillary because Rush told them to. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008...

Hillary has NO chance of winning Texas in November. Same goes for Ohio. Rush handed her that one too. Is anybody stupid enough to believe he will do the same for her in November? He's only doing that now because he is convinced she is easy to beat in the general election.

Hillary would energize the Republican base like nothing John McCain could ever dream up. I don't think that's fair, but I do know it is a fact. That's one reason for the Super Delegates to weigh in now. Don't let Rush keep electioneering the Democratic Primaries.

It's a long way 'til November.

As of now, the only way Hillary Clinton can win the Democratic nomination is if the superdelegates push her over the top. That is not going to happen (But I know this is a wet dream for many righties, since the resulting chasm in the Democratic Party would hand the Republicans a victory...all with only lukewarm support for their candidate, John McCain. How brilliant! Huh?).

No, the more likely outcome will be that Barack Obama will emerge as the Democratic nominee. His acceptance speech will breath new energy into the Democratic Party and will make his 2004 keynote address seem like just a warm up. In the end, the Democrats will be unified.

Yep. To get to 2024 now (the magic number), Hillary would have to win all the remaining 10 primaries and then some. So far, she is winning about 1/3rd and Obama has taken 2/3rds.

Then Hillary would need for over 2/3rds of the uncommitted super delegates to back her. Barack would hit 2024 with just 1/3rd.

Unless Obama self destructs, he has won. If he should self destruct, Hillary would win even if she had ceased campaigning and wrecking the party's hopes. Kind of puts her lust for power in a proper perspective.

Actually, it will be easier to win an election from Obama then from Hillary. Yesterday it came out that Obama lied about being a Law Professor. He was only a lecturer, and taught a couple part time courses. Today there is a document in his own hand about legalizing drugs, and his approval of abortion at any time up to the normal birth of a child. It is known in Illinois that he passed legislation to ban medical attention from babies that survive abortion. We will be getting more, and more adverse information over the summer. By fall his own white Granny won't vote for him.

Surprising information. I wonder why I haven't seen any of this on the news? Could he be getting special treatment again?

          ANIOKLY:

"We will be getting more, and more adverse information over the summer."

LOL. It sounds like ANIOKLY is getting pretty nervous about having to campaign against Obama.

It also sounds like the neocon smear machine is just beginning to start its muckraking.

          Typical neocon.

Speaking of whisper campaigns, did you know that John McCain was driven insane as a POW by his captors? I also hear that he fathered an illegitimate black baby! More "adverse information" over the summer to come!

          http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/editorials...

"Bush's supporters spread nasty rumors about what five and a half years in a North Vietnamese POW camp might have done to McCain's sanity. Then there were the calls to potential white voters in South Carolina to inform them that McCain had a 'black baby.' The Bush supporters also spread other rumors that questioned McCain's patriotism, even though the man was a decorated war hero."

          Pathetic.

          More lies from ani.

A lecturer IS a professor.Obama is NOT in favor of "legalizing" drugs, ani is just too uninformed to know the difference between legalization and decriminalization, under decriminalization,it is still illegal,it is a measure that takes away the cost of arrest, prosecution and incarceration and replaces it with a civil fine which results in a profit for govt...it's called LOWERING TAXES!Obama has only stated that he see's the sense of not throwing marijuana users in prison.

On the other hand McCain advocates using federal tax dollars to arrest and imprison terminally ill cancer patients for using their LEGAL medicine.

ani, its clear you don't have any knowledge of the university system.

and then...he approves of abortion up til the normal birth of the child? no medical attention for babies that "survive" abortion?

where do you get this stuff?

          super crazy but also entertaining.

Ani, can't we spend more time saying what is right about our candidates, and do less 'Rove-defining' of the opponent?

Most of us want to hear what makes a candidate worth supporting; not circle around in accusations that are obviously untrue.

The University of Chicago says he was a Professor of Law.

He says he does not support legalizing drugs.

          He likes babies.

If you intend to flood the net with every accusation you can throw, you will ultimately lose those who have ambitions to be a grownup.

Talk about McCain. What do you like about him? His war record, his economics, his personality?

Democrats have to chooose Obama, or their black delegates will riot at the Convention. But if they think that is the end of hostile talk in the ranks they are sadly mistaken. They already lost the White male vote. They will anger women for treating their woman candidate disrespectfully. Most Americans will find Obama too Liberal, and he will lose. When he does the Clinton's will take back the Democrat party, and punish the bad guys that mistreated Hillary. But it is fun to watch.

Nah ani, most American voters do not want a replay of the last 8 years and they know a vote for McCain will be just that.

You leave out of the equation that they will also have to hold their noses, many of them because they think McCain is a liberal (mostly Republicans), the others (independents and Reagan Democrats) because they know that in the end McCain means 4 more years of Bush with the neocons firmly in control of foreign policy again. Basically, and not to be crude but McCain's sh t didn't stink as bad as everyone elses that's why he is the nominee. Cheney has jerked his chain plenty of times and found him responsive to commands. As our current "C-in-C" by default, Cheney isn't going away if McCain wins, he will always have deep influence, until the day his metal heart stops beating.

                aniokly,

Like your namesake Annie Oakley, you may be "quick on the trigger with targets not much bigger than a pinpoint", but it also appears that, again like your namesake, "you can't get a man with gun". Your gun has misfired again in your attempt to paint Sen. Obama as a liar. How many members of the UofC Law School faculty would have to confirm that Sen. Obama was a professor there before you back down?

It is likely that the Democrats will choose Sen. Obama as the nominee at their national convention, but not because there will be riot if they don't. Rather, he will be chosen because he will have gathered the largest number of delegates.

Whoever is nominated, there will be a riotous disappointment at the convention. Such disappointment may lead some voters to step away from their party and serve Sen. McCain's cause.

now you're just being batsh*t loony tunes.

keep talking ani. every word you say just helps Obama.
