A lobbyist "liar" leaves a pathological "liar"campaign. No surprise here.

Wow! That's big news. Personally, I think Mark Penn should have gone months ago, or better still should never have been part of her staff. He was the architect of much of the negative Tanya Harding strategy that has driven the former First Lady's negatives so high among Democrats.
But this news goes to a more serious question. It shows the "Ready on Day One" argument to be false on yet another important front.
Since Hillary has made a mess of running a campaign, how can she expect to run a country? Being a great executive means you know how to manage things effectively. A campaign is a thing to manage. So to compare Hillary's executive expertise with that of Obama, we have only to look at the results each has achieved in the primaries.

Hillary started as the heir apparent to the Bush/Clinton dynasty. She assumed that she had little to do to gain the nomination. She ignored Obama, even though his stellar speech at the 2004 Convention should have warned her he was a force to be reckoned with. In this, she demonstrated very poor judgment.
When the contest got underway, she failed to develop a grassroots organization to get out the vote in Iowa. The result was that both Obama and Edwards trounced her.
The same is true of Super Tuesday. Obama won 2 states to Hillary's 1. He was better organized. This is astounding considering that Obama is an upstart, and Hillary is plugged in to the powerful Clinton machine of influence peddling and ward healer politics. Organizing is an executive skill. Obama has that skill, and Hillary doesn't.
After the Super Tuesday drubbing, her campaign again demonstrated disastrous judgment with the racially charged remarks Bill used to try to spin the losses in the South.

Finally, there is fund raising. This is also a measure of executive ability. Obama has beat Hillary 2 to 1. More telling, while she continues to do it the old fashioned way, calling in favors done for rich political leeches, Obama is raising his money mostly from John Q Public. The bulk of his enormous funds have come from first time donors giving less than $100.
By every measure of running a campaign, Obama is far more competent as an executive than is Hillary.
Oh, and don't even get me started about how he outshines John McCain! I will go out on a limb here. If he doesn't get assassinated before the general election, Senator Obama will be the next President of the United States.

The talk of how many states Senator Obama won on Super Tuesday is a ridiculous point. He took states such as Utah and Kansas which realistically have no chance of siding with the Democrats in November. He has a lot of flashy speeches, but most of his rhetoric is just that...flash. I fail to see his substance.
I supported John Edwards until he withdrew from the race. When he did, I chose Senator Clinton. Despite her shortcomings as of late, Senator Clinton does have the skills necessary to lead the nation. I am not persuaded that Senator Obama does. After Super Tuesday, she had decisive victories in Ohio and Texas.
