FTA:

Most memorably, he repeated - three times - the assertion that Iran was arming al-Qaeda despite the fact that there is no known connection between country and the group, and that the two are clearly of different religions.

On Sunday, McCain made another Iraq-based claim that is highly debatable if not simply false.

This poor old man is dazed and confused! Yet the conservatives want this man to be our leader! It's all about partisanship, not patriotism, IMHO!

Aw not2needy, you are takin us too serously.

When we selecteed John McCain to be our leader, we were only kiddin. Its a JOKE! Get it?

Look, we ALREADY rejected McCain in 2000.

You KNOW its a joke on accounta, back then, we preferred a recoverin alcoholic, admitted cocaine imbiber, DRAFT DODGER, confirmed and acclaimed C student.

Truth be told, we were HOPIN that our nation woulda hit the skids by now so as to show in the End of Days.

If ANYBODY coulda 'screwed the pooch', we expected it to be GW. Since it dint happen, .... well, we Christian Conservatives just dont care much no more bout who we choose.

We just dont want the next presdient to have Christian values liek helpin kids with health care, protectin Gods creation- planet Earth, and helpin vets get the care they need.

We liek our presdients to take our nation down paths of bankrupcy and arbitrary military excursions that help Halliburton and KBR ... Both Houston TX companies!

Apparently so Goppy, sure seems that way!

Speaking of Halliburton and KBR, what's up with the rapes of female employees in Iraq? I've heard about 2 now and both are being covered up.

As for McCain, I think he might need some milky tea and a nap.

Over 200,000 troops and contractors in Iraq and there are 2 cases.

Don't get me wrong, 2 is too many, but it is hardly indicative of our troops, military or our people.

No one paints all Muslims as terrorists. People merely point out MANY Muslims are terrorists -- primarily Islamo-fascist Muslims.

BULL SH!T

Propeller is FULL of people who REPEATEDLY call ALL Muslims terrorists, call Senator Obama a Muslim and then go one step further by saying that they will never vote to put a terrorist in the White House. They certainly don't want you to try an confuse you with the facts that both those points are TOTALLY FALSE!

WRONG!!! BoBo points out that there are two kinds of muslims. The kind that support terrorism, and the kind who sits back and allows terrorism to be carried out in their name. When Eric rudolph bombed the olympics the nightclub and so on saying he was "the army of God", I was very quick to condemn him. As were all true Chrsitians.

Personally I try not to do these kinds of things and I doubt you can find any post of mine that claims either Obama is a Muslim or that all Muslims are terrorists.

The problem with Islam is its holy books. The Koran and Sunnah. The example of Muhammad is to be followed. The Koran tells the followers to attack and convert or kill all people but Christians and Jews and for them to be made subservient and to pay an extra tax. Another place all Jews are to be killed. His example is as follows.

1. assassinated people

2. attacked caravans

3. made treaties and broke them shortly

4. attacked for no real reason two tribes of Jews and took their belongings they couldn't carry

5. Attacked the last tribe of Jews and beheaded the men and took the women and children as slaves

6. gave permission to have sex with captured women

7. anybody renouncing Islam is to be killed

After Muhammad died Islam conquered

1. east across Africa

2. west across into India

3. northeast into France before being turned back

4. across the Mediterranean taking part of Italy and the Islands

5. Northwest through the Byzantine and up to Vienna

avatar

Those Muslims who follow this are terrorists. Those who ignore this are the moderate Muslims.

What do you know about the Islamic holy books? I was ignorant and believed what some Muslims on this site told me. I started investigating on the web and with books and the above is part of what I found. The terrorists of today are just following jihad with the sword.

A couple of definitions and their meaning.

Dar al-Islam house of Islam or peace - Wherever Muslims are in charge and enforce Islamic law

Dar al-harb House of war - Muslims are expected to bring God's word and God's will to all of humanity, by force if absolutely necessary, and attempts by the regions in dar al-harb to resist or fight back must be met with a similar amount of force. While the general condition of conflict between the two may stem from the Islamic mission to convert, specific instances of warfare are believed to be always due to the immoral and disordered nature of dar al-harb regions.

The term terrorist is a label that depends on your point of view, just like the term liberal or conservative. All too often they are used to slander because you don have a valid argument. Islamo-fascist is a contradiction in terms. My hope is that, when you grow up, you learn to think before you blabber.

Wrong again Loverman. In fact your 2 years out of date

First civilian contractor in Iraq charged under new military law

Alaa "Alex" Mohammad Ali, who holds dual Iraqi-Canadian citizenship, is the first person facing criminal charges since Congress in 2006 gave the military authority to prosecute crimes committed by civilians working for the armed forces, a U.S. statement said.

That well may be true, but the KBR contractors are the ones that have been an issue in the case of raping one of their own.

The case you mention here is about, "...Congress in 2006 gave the military authority to prosecute crimes committed by civilians working for the armed forces." KBR isn't working for the armed forces, it's working with the State Department AND they don't come under military rule.

My dear friend, Gop, You always have a way to bring a smile to these swamp-suckin' lips!!! You shouldn't be here, you should be like our beloved George Carlin, merrily rapping about how our GOP looks more like the weather -- one day sunny, the other days carrying the distinct aroma of bad breath...and bad weather!!!

I know better than most what is happening in my cool Brother's mind. We're all short in the memory when it comes time to toe-tag our friends. That's how we keep what's left of our brains from going completely bonkers. I respect greatly what he had to endure from the VC -- for five long years; that's why I knew McCain was brain-washed, when he OK's water boarding for that son-of-a-Bush! I expect that from a non-combatant. Hell, that scum-sucker never had to lose a friend over the stupidity of a president.

I believe the entire cabinet of Bushites never caught fire from the enemy! They were all over here, safely in the arms of those who DID fight. May his ass rot!

Wouldn't bet a lot of money McCain being wrong. Test your personal knowledge on terrorist and their "group"

POP Quiz! Match the Terrorist to their Terrorist Organization No cheating!

1. Muhammad Ibrahim Al Qaeda

2. Abdel Muaz Egyptian Islamic Jihad

3. Ayman Al Zawahiri Al-Jihad

4. Abu Fatima Al Gamaa Islamia

5. KHALED AL FAWWAZ Palestinian Islamic Jihad

6. Abu Omar Talah e Fatah

7. Hamad Gamaa't

Oh I stopped at 7 but could have gone on for many more pages

I don't need to know how to match the terrorist with their group....I'm not running for President with the ONLY thing in my corner being 'I'm the best person for the job because I have all this International Experience.'

Well, with that requirement, you're not planning to vote at all? Hillary sees imaginary snipers. Barack sits in a church for 23 years not understanding his minister is a black racist preaching hate.

I can understand why he might have gotten the terrorist info mixed up. Especially with Iran. They're supplying a number of organizations in Syria and Lebanon. They supply the terrorist in Iraq. In the end, it's all terror. I'm more concerned with a candidate who would consider sitting down and talking with the terrorists on an equal setting. By even suggesting something like that, will legitimize the killing of civilians with their claims that they are legitimate targets.

avatar
Reply

lmao.

Hillary makes a mistake about some small incident 15 years ago.

McCain makes a huge mistake about who the terrorists are and aren`t. He cannot even figure out who the Shiites and Sunnis are, despite five years of cheerleading for the war and despite all those trips and proclamations of how safe it is (with bullet-proof vest, helicopters, and small army surrounding him).

Pretty simple comparison:

Nobody dies due to Hillary`s mistake.

Tens of thousands have already died in iraq and hundreds of thousands more could die due to mistakes like McCain`s.

Obama denounces and distances himself from a man who preaches hateful stuff.

Meanwhile, McCain embraces another preacher who does the same.

If I was running for pres and was about to go on TV to talk about terrorism I'd dam sure know the difference between terrorist groups, the main players, who belonged to which one, etc.

LOL, Hardly, not even close. But apparently you failed the test.

See all those terrorist are one in the same, Ayman Al Zawahiri, the other names are AKA's or Also Known As

And all the terrorist groups are one in the same, Al Qaeda, the other names are AKA's or Also Known As

Because I have access to the internet it only took me seconds to compose a list of AKA's

You did know terrorist and groups often use AKA's?

avatar

I suppose you are going to now tell us which of these groups is funneling any substantial amount of support from Iran?

I mean evidence, not a blog of somebody suspects that something might have been.

OK, now you fail the arithmetic test, while trying to give others a calculus test. No wonder you like McCain, you`re just like him.

Anybody who has access to the internet, and uses it, knows that no two terrorists groups are alike, at least not the groups that the current admin calls `terrorists`.

AQ and the myriad of independent death squads and neighborhood militias and Al Sadr`s army are completely different with completely different motivations and goals.

Good lord how could you not understand that by now!

>You did know terrorist and groups often use AKA's?

Did you know the terrorists are not monkeys?

"Where are all the WMD in IRAQ. You still betting we will yet find those? Will you go on for pages on that old line of shi*?"

Jeezz you're a bit slow. The David Kay report and the UN report on Iraqs WMD's, found there were NO WMD's after 1994.

The reports was issued 3/02/04

The headline in USA Today was kinda confusing for you I know, but it's worth repeating

U.N.: Iraq had no WMD after 1994

http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2004-03...

Kay reported in October that his team found "dozens of WMD-related program activities" that Iraq was required to reveal to U.N. inspectors but did not. However, he said he found no actual WMDs.

avatar
Reply

Now if there were NO WMD's after 1994 then WTF were all those claims by our government in 1998 that Saddam HAD WMD's?

Together, we must confront the new hazards of chemical and biological weapons and the outlaw states, terrorists, and organized criminals seeking to acquire them. Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade and much of his nation's wealth not on providing for the Iraqi people but on developing nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."

Are you kidding? Uhm dude, 1998 Iraq WMD's are the basis for the Iraq liberation act, public law Public Law 105-338.

Public Law 105-338 one of the reason given and voted on for authorization to use force against Iraq.

Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq

"Whereas the Iraq Liberation Act (Public Law 105-338) expressed the sense of Congress that it should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove from power the current Iraqi regime and promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime;"

avatar
Reply

Many members of congress (including a few Republicans) voted against the Joint Resolution to Authorize Use of Force. Many of those that voted for it said that they only voted that way because they believed it would only be used as a last resort. But GWB ordered the weapons inspectors out, before they had finished their job, so he could begin the invasion. It only got worse from there.

Yes, some dems share the responsibility. No, I am not forgetting that.

Dude, carefully read the title of this resolution and ask could anyone be dumb enough to read this title and not conclude that it meant using our military in Iraq.

Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq

Next question is there anyone in elected office who voted on this and now claims they didn't understand what it meant be allowed to keep their office or become President of the USA?

Since you are skipping the parts where the Bush admin made 935 known lies plus hundreds of other exaggerations, falsifications, mis-interpretations, cherry-picking, sexing up of data and so forth.

http://www.publicintegrity.org/WarCard/

One question: did Clinton send in inspectors, watch while they found zero WMD evidence at over 100 `known` sites, and then kick them out to invade over Saddam`s WMD?

You have the internet, yet, you choose to fail another test.

Trying to share the blame on this one is like trying to say African cows fart just as much as American ones, and since that leads to CO2, Africa is just as guilty of green-house gas emissions as America.

avatar
Reply

As you well know, those claims were put to rest by the U.N. inspectors that were in Iraq until Bush ushered them out before they could completely destroy his excuse for a war.
