She reminds me of the one who found religion after sleeping around!
With Hillary, everything is an act! She will lie, obfuscate, blame imaginary groups and people, etc. The common thread in all of these acts is that she is an angel and everyone else is mean and vicious!
I think we as a nation have had enough of the Clintons! Based upon what Bill has been trolling-in in "Speaking Fees", Hillary can surely rake in millions! May be that is her calling!
LOL!

She's stating what many of us had figured out from the beginning. So what's she going to do about this? Talk?

automan states a truth & you neg him - we should never have been in Iraq in the first place, but as Stan Laurel said" we're in a fine mess now" - We have made a fine mess wherever we have stuck our unwanted nose. In Afghanistan our policy led dirrectly to the rise of the Taliban, we had now plan of withdrawal & they took over with the weapons & training we supplied. Saadam had Iran at bay if we leave now Iran will be in Iraq in a Tehran minute is that what you want?
Bush made a mess of a relatively stable situation & now we are stuck with trying to clean it up.

I don't think there is much of a chance that we'll be leaving Iraq anytime soon.

Obama's right. We need to be just as cautious getting out as we were careless getting in. He has a plan to withdraw in 16 months. Frankly, I don't think the Iraqis will begin to stand up and take responsibility for their own security until there is a finite time left before their free meal ticket is canceled.
Obama is willing to talk to all the border countries to build a force that will ensure Iraq's stability after we leave. Hillary prefers the Bush strategy of only talking to unfriendly countries like Iran after the meet all the demands we place on them. That's a formula for no negotiation ever, as negotiation is the only reasonable route to getting unfriendly nations to acquiesce to our desires.

What exactly are our desires? Tocontinue to run the MidEast for our own benefit? Why should anyone (other than our corrupt lackies who profit at the expense of their own peoples) accept that?
We are still talking too much about tactics and not nearly enough about making our strategic goals match reality before the pipedreams destroy America.
American Empire Comes At A Very High Price
Politics â;; Not one of the remaining political candidates -- not Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, much less John McCain -- talks about significantly downsizing the military-industrial complex and decreasing our military footprint around the world. Superpowers are darned expensive, and the United States simply doesn't have the money for all that anymore.

Readiness for endless war
Politics â;; The American political class has drawn all the wrong conclusions from the end of the Cold War and the breakup of the Soviet Union. Permanent global hegemony just did not happen. Frustration and craving for revenge have become main drivers of US policies. September 11 focused their common dysfunctionality, but they are not its root cause.

The ONLY way to stop the continuing Iraq debacle is to JUST SAY NO to more funding.
Until the U.S. JUST SAYS NO, the Iraq politicians will continue to do NOTHING but chow down on the unlimited supply of dollars that Bush is willing to send to these bozos.
Until the U.S. JUST SAYS NO, the Iraq politicians will continue to use our U.S. soldiers to do their police work for them.
Lets see what Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama do to JUST SAY NO when the next funding bill comes before the Senate.

if you all think Hillary or Obama will pull troops out your drinking and McCain never said he wants troops in Iraq for 100 yrs the quote was taken out of it's full context. Going into Iraq was not the right move I will grant you that, but pulling out would leave the people of Iraq in great danger. I am not sure simply turning and running now is the answer.
