FTA:

Compounding Clinton's woes, Obama appears on track to finish the primary campaign fewer than 100 delegates shy of the 2,025 needed to win.

Clinton argues to Democratic officialdom that other factors should count, an unprovable assertion that she's more electable chief among them. But she undercut her own claim in Wednesday night's debate, answering "yes, yes, yes" when asked whether her rival could win the White House.

Dirty politics! She cut her nose off to spite her face. She and McCain will both get what they deserve.

What do you mean, unprovable. Isn't the person who gets fewer popular votes, wins fewer states, badly mismanages their campaign, looses 2 to 1 at fundraising and lags way behind in committed delagates obviously more electable?

Had the Texas results not been so prominently hyped as a Clinton victory instead of the weak showing for her that it actually was, she would have dropped already.

I wonder why they did that! They really made a mountain out of a mole hill on that one.

avatar

Hmmm, I wonder. I'm betting it wasn't an honest mistake on the part of the MSM.

obama won more delegates in tx but u rarely hear that mentioned

Actually, Obama won More delegates in Texas than Hillary did!

She LOST Texas!

Her so-called initial win was the product of a mischief by that Lard of Right wing talk radio - Limbaugh! In Texas primary, anybody can vote in any party primary, so a lot of Republicans were persuaded by Limbaugh to vote for Hillary, so that she will become the Democratic nominee and can be easily beaten by McCain!

But when the caucus votes were counted, Obama won!

No matter how the Clintons spin it, Hillary is heading for a door marked "Exit"!

Last I checked the caucus votes are STILL not counted! and not to be released until convention time!

check again.

I like the new name I coined for Limpbag:

Lard of the Wing! (Right wing, that is!)

Fits him perfect, doesn't it?

LOL!

BTW, Texas Democratic Primary Delegate Counts are:

Barack Obama: 98

Hillary Clinton: 95

Ref:

OBAMA WON!

avatar

Clinton won Texas by 100,000 votes almost exactly. Obama looks like he's 3,000 votes ahead in the caucus. This shows caucus flaws. The non-working people, the fanatics, the hard lefties,

show up disproportionately in the caucus system. Even you Moveon & DailyKos people ought to realize this.

avatar
Reply

And it's been estimated that 119,000 of Hillary's votes were from Republicans following Limbaugh's orders.

avatar

actually obama winning the caucuses and hillary "winning" the primary shows that the primary was probably not counted correctly...and since they have secret blackbox voting in texas thats highly likely...travis county is in the middle of a court case right now because the machines r illegal

Such creative genius!! lol

just did and I used searchbeams link, And it says just what I said that they aren't releasing until the convention!

avatar
Reply

Just looked. No it doesn't say that. It projects the delegate count and menations that there are less than 4% of caucus results remaining to be tabulated. At most, that could move the count 1 delegate. Obama won Texas. Period.

You might want to read the upper portion of the link

I read the entire article before reaching a conclusion as to what it says.

I think her 'sense' of entitlement was her undoing among the Big Wigs. And maybe the sniper fire.

avatar
Reply

I think you're right OH. She never took Obama seriously either, shame on her!

avatar
Reply

I've also read that that her campaign from the git go was horribly run including strategy, people picked and an attitude that "it's in the bag."

avatar
Reply

I think you're on the money there rdy, she had a very cocky attitude, smug and condescending. She acted like she had the bull by the horns and there was no stopping her.

I think the bull is somewhere else!

LOL!

Well search, I don't have ALL the bull but I got plenty to spread around.LMAO or maybe not LMAO.

At least some of us admit it.LOL

Because she is a closet republican! She flipped to the democrats because they were the winning team at the time, but her leanings are still largely republican - especially that pesky, obnoxious, "elitist" thing!

Amen, my cool friends! She learned the Bush technique of always taking the low-road. I must confess, it was the dirty tricks played by her own husband who really set a bad platform for her to get her message to the voters. Barack Obama kept to the high-road, that alone sets him apart from all other candidates. Peace, we damned well deserve it!!!

even when they asked obama about hillarys lie about bosnia,he let her off the hook

gotta respect him for that..i gotta admit i might of attacked right back after what they did first 45 mins

Barack Obama is the leader of a new direction in this country. Down in the trenches and even at the top this common knowledge. It's only a matter of time before Hillary and McCain folds. But they're not going to go down easy.

avatar
Reply

I predict McCain employing the dregs of Rove to assist his campaign in the general, he's not above trying to rig the election either.

Hillary thought she had an entitlement, but so does McCain, and i think he will do more than fight, and it won't be fair.

avatar

I liked todays..McCain calling Obama 'recklessly dishonest' for calling BS on McCain for claiming we've made great economic progress in the last seven and a half years.

WHAT A LARF!!!

avatar

McCain is getting very old and SENILE!

In to-day's news, we learn that he has been feeding off Social Security!

So much for Straight Talk Express!

His wife is worth more than $110 Million, but she won't give him an allowance!

So, he has to get Social Security! I wonder if his Scrooge wife is living off his food stamps!

What a pair!

avatar
Reply

Why the hell would anyone walk off and leave his wife and children for some money mizer, thief, druggy?

McCain's a loser.

avatar
Reply

It is what you call shallow !

avatar

McCain reminds me of a cartoon caricature. Limited lines, limited knowledge, limited faculties and very limited accomplishments!

Just someone cashing-on on the glory of his father and grandfather, and his torture in North Vietnamese Prison.

The poor guy has to survive on his Navy pension, Senate paycheck and SOCIAL SECURITY! Could he even be eligible for food stamps?

It is unthinkable, but if he does somehow gets elected as President, I wonder who he will be beholden to!

LOL!

The fact that as time goes on Clinton loses support to Obama in Pa. is amazing. The Clinton machine combined with Governor Rendel's own powerful machine is operating in the red, yet at best the vote has gone from a 30% lead to 5%. Voters who meet or hear Obama personally tend to throw their support for him.

Political machines are scary remember what happened in NY? Districts in Harlem (where posters and stickers supporting Obama were numerous) registered ZERO votes for him... really zero? That's hard to believe.

There's one I missed. OMG, this is really out of control.

Hillary is desperate!

The whole Clinton apparatus has been going full force to defeat Obama, but it is back-firing in a big way!

avatar
Reply

I think Clinton's strategy is to strong-arm the superdelegates, it's really the only hope. But it would make all the new 1st time voters who literally doubled the participation in democratic primaries turn away never to return in disgust. Obama is the future, we desperately need someone who inspires the participation and involvement of the citizensif we ever want to break the stranglehold special interests have on DC. He has been the only candidate in my lifetime who demonstrated he can do just that.

avatar
Reply

I am hearing and seeing more and more superdelegates endorse Obama, so hopefully that won't happen.

avatar

And some of them were originally for Hillary.

avatar
Reply

Yes, they were, she has run them all over to Obama with her campaign strategy. Way to go Hillary. lol

Just curious about something;

With out Mich and Fla in the mix how does this play out for the Democrats when the Democratic candidate takes on the Republicans for the White House? It would seem that those two state would have to be 'accounted for' before the 'big run' or the whole Democratic platform will not represent all of the possible voters in the party.

It would seem that if the problem is not rectified it would indicate to some people that the Democrat party is possibly one of exclusion of certain elements of the voting population instead of inclusion.

Does anyone know what the plan is to handle this problem?

"...Democrat party is possibly one of exclusion of certain elements of the voting population instead of inclusion."

No one, excepting certain white supremacy parties, can come close to equaling repugs for exclusion of "certain elements."

"Does anyone know what the plan is to handle this problem?"

The two state's dem party bosses were publicly warned what would happen if they defied the rules. The state's dem citizens should be looking to replace their leadership.

Howard Dean has said that something will be worked out that is fair to both of the candidates and to the citizens of those states. There will be delegates from both states at the convention and they will have an equal say in the party platform.
