Politics – Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and the government of President George W. Bush were to blame for the U.S. financial crisis, Nobel laureate economist Joseph Stiglitz said in a magazine interview.

The American people are to blame. The nation as a whole spends more than it makes and saves nothing. What do you think will happen if that goes on long enough? What our politicans do is a reflection of American's personal fiscal practices.

Turn on CSPAN this week. They are investigating the corrupt contractors in Iraq. There is testimony from former employees of KBR stating that they are illegally billing the goverment for services, double billing, and outright stealing everything that's not nailed down.
