Although problematic I can see where someone who is hiking/backpacking in the wilderness in a National Park would want to pack a gat.

Doesn't matter right now what anyone wants to do in the National Parks. When the Supreme Court rules on the 2nd Amendment in June, we will be able to carry wherever we feel our safety in in question.
