May 1, 2008, 11:34 a.m.This is a really good and informative interview. Bill holds no punches with her and she holds her own.
Also, I will be going on a mini-vacation today and won't be back until Monday night. So I leave you with one last story before I go. Don't celebrate too much, libs. ; )

May 1, 2008, 12:11 p.m.Did you see Dennis Miller's recap of the interview? I like his statement that he thought it was "delicious" that Hillary was being done in by the "Vast Left-wing Conspiracy".

May 1, 2008, 1:29 p.m.I guess this should end once and for all the rediculous claims by the left wing extremists that Fox news is the voice of the Republican party. Pure fantasy.

May 2, 2008, 8:47 a.m.She will not win! the super delegate are switching from her as we speak. I saw Jean Wise on CNN and she reminded me why I like Obama. She said what got her soled on Obama is what we have all forgotten. When asked if he would sit down with our enema he and talk, he said yes he would. She said that was the sign of a grownup it was when she realized that he was a true candidate and not just the same old story. I agree with her i rather a president that would talk first and shock and awwwww later!

AlphaGnosis-
You're right about that. I'm not a Hillary supporter, but, I felt she did an excellent job with the interview.
How can I hear more?
is there a continuation?
thanks.

May 1, 2008, 11:50 a.m.I thought it was a pretty good interview. Even though I would NEVER vote for Clinton, I thought it was a fair and imformative interview.

May 1, 2008, 12:03 p.m.I thought she held her own with Bill O'Reilly. He has a reputation as a scary guy to Liberals, that is why so few will go on his show, Have a great weekend.
-

DropkickaLib
May 1, 2008, 12:12 p.m.Correction: O'Reilly used to be scary towards Libs. Now, he's usally Left of Center himself. I think that the sex scandals have toned him down after he was afraid of getting sacked.

May 1, 2008, 12:34 p.m.Yea, and it says a lot for Hillary for her to go on his show. She gets a point from me for that.
Also, O'Reilly's just looking out for the folks! :D

May 1, 2008, 12:51 p.m.I recorded it, but haven't watched it yet.
She is using O'Reilly as a sparring partner to get toughened up for the GE. Lets see if Obama steps up as well.

May 1, 2008, 12:52 p.m.I don't care for O'Reilly but, he did a good interview and Hillary did good as well.

May 1, 2008, 1:05 p.m.I think they both did their thing extremely well. But the two biggest things for me were.
Bill-"So you will bandrupt the country for healthcare?"
Hillary-"I will not bankrupt the country."
NEWS FLASH-It's already bankrupt anyway.
Hillary-"I am no socialist." HUH

Wolfie2007
May 1, 2008, 2:31 p.m.I was surprised that Hillary even went on Fox. Since the democrats felt they couldn't even attend a presidential debate on Fox. I guess this proves that even if the hate Fox the liberals know it's the cable news that most people watch.

ML2007
May 2, 2008, 12:32 a.m.Why are you of all my heroes surprised, wolfie? O'Reilly wants a Hillary/McCain GE. O'Reilly's, Clinton's, and McCain's Corporate sponsors and lobbyists all want a McCain/Clinton GE so they will have one of their own in the finals. This assures them that they will still be on track for a fascist America run by big business. Ron Paul is no threat, and Obama is the only threat left. I smell the winds of revolution coming to American.

May 1, 2008, 3:20 p.m.Well I'm surprised Hillary actually had the nerve to do this. And O'Reilly? I figured he would cut her to ribbons. But he was very respectful but direct. Hillary may have upped her number along w/O'Reilly's. I watched and I enjoyed it.

May 1, 2008, 4:22 p.m.Good interview. Her windfall profit tax is a joke. It will drive the price at the pump up even farther. Anti nuclear power, anti drilling in ANWR, anti new refinery. She is gonna kill(no pun intended) our health care sysytem. Her husband didn't do jack. She, however, will do damage.

May 2, 2008, 10:31 a.m.Look to the REAL cause of high gas prices.
Crude oil prices were nearly constant for 20 years until 2004-2008 when they rapidly increased 4-5 fold. We all know what happened shortly before 2004 to cause massive instability in the middle east.
Just as when oil prices fell RAPIDLY in the mid 1980s, when stability was restored to the middle east, they will fall again once we have an Administration that has a coherent Middle East foreign policy.
Clinton's remarks in the interview on OPEC were spot on.

May 1, 2008, 4:45 p.m.Hillary was pumped up for this meeting. She is much too clever for Bill O'Reilly in a debate or on the issues. I think Billo underestimated his adversary.

May 1, 2008, 5:32 p.m.So now all you Republicans love McCain and Hillary. Well you can have them and take Bill while your at it too.

May 1, 2008, 8:08 p.m.I was so excited I grew a hang-nail trying to remember exactly where Mr. O'Reilly received his Journalism degree? He may have found the school via a discarded match book cover...
Please forgive my misunderstanding his intent. Speaking of which, where oh where did Mr. Limbaugh receive same? Pundits don't investigate, journalists do. Pundits don't report the truth, they create it.
O'Reilly knows squat about reporting! Now, where did he place that factor again???

May 1, 2008, 10:35 p.m."exactly where Mr. O'Reilly received his Journalism degree?"
O'Reilly holds a degree in History from Marist College, a Masters in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and another Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

SwampFox-82nd
May 2, 2008, 2:36 a.m.I beg your pardon, O'Reilly is a real rocket scientist. Then, my good man, where again is his journalism degree? I don't give a rat's ass if O'Rielly got his doctorate in underwater basket-weaving, clown -- you didn't answer the question.
Since you are so hot for this smart man, explain to the cool people here exactly why O'Reilly is so ignorant???
Say, Mr. Beamer, see that doc on Haliburton and KBR in Iraq?
What does O'Reilly say about that?
Don't bother responding, DaneL, I'm about to lose my patience with you...and you don't want this stump-jumper up your spiffy right-winged shorts, sir!

May 1, 2008, 9:46 p.m.Why is this surprising? Hillary is practically John Breaux when compared to Obama. Or maybe this is another part of my fantasy coming true, where Hillary flips out from being denied the nomination and returns to her Goldwater Girl roots. lol
-

bluenote1522
May 1, 2008, 11:44 p.m.Hillary handled herself well though her positions on healthcare, energy, economy scare the bejeezus out of me. Obama, however is 10x worse. And he will be the candidate, rest unassured!!

bluenote1522
May 2, 2008, 12:03 a.m.She is desperate, and he may become desperate. With Obama less is more. The less he says the more of a chance he can hoodwink the ignorant electorate. This guy is a simpleton!

May 2, 2008, 12:19 a.m.AG, Now O'Rieley. LOL What a facade. Another NeoCon article to get all of us stright. Those were tough questions for Hillary? ROFLMAO What did you think about that Wright guy? LOL Do you really think your health care system will work? LOL What about asking her this one, Since you miserably failed at your last attempt on a health care system, Hillary, what makes you think the American people can trust you this time around? And another tough question a good NeoCon should be asking Hillary, If you would have left the Rev. Wrights church when you heard negative things like he said, why did you and why are you staying with a man who got a good B.J. right in the White House you so desparately want to occupy now. What is really going on here, Hillary?
I already know the answer to my question. The NeoCons plan to ask those tougher questions after they have helped Hillary get the nomination. They know Obama will cream Flip Flop John even despite the Wright facade.

O'Reilly holds a degree in History from Marist College, a Masters in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and another Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
Not to mention those Peabody...er, Polk or some kind of awards he won. Oh, that's right--he didn't win ANY awards for journalism! He just uh, forgot. Kinda like he forgot that he was registered as a Republican. If the cretins that watch his show would go back to grade school and relearn to read he might actually have to go out and get a real job, not that he could handle it mind you but...
As for Hillary dignifying his train wreck of a show, just how big a ****** for the Presidency does she plan on being? Any thoughts, kids? BTW, to all the Pubbies sniffing and licking each other fondly on this board, I'm sorry if I ******ed in your Cheerios. Have a nice day!

May 2, 2008, 5:52 a.m.I was amazed at the job Hillary did. She held her own and Reilly was quite tough, as usual. In fact, I have seen OReilly rip so many smart people to shreds (that's why people watch him-I really don't enjoy the pain of his spectacles), I thought she was amazing. OReilly is pretty much nasty to everyone tho.
I really would like to see Obama, McCain and even Bush go up against this guy. That would be great entertainment. Although I have to admit, I have seen Bush getting chewed out on interviews, and he pretty much ignores what the interviewor is saying and just keeps repeating himself. Hil didn't do that, she had answers, and even if you did not agree with them, at least they were intelligible.

May 2, 2008, 9:23 a.m.Hillary has a plan, and since she won Ohio, and Pennsylvania she has the popular vote. Obama must win in Indiana (not a chance) or Hillary will begin to look like the only one that can win in November. Those Superdelegates? Their job is to choose the candidate that can win in November. They can change their votes all the way until the second ballot at the convention.
