May 3, 2008, 12:27 a.m.I would like to encourage everybody to donate NOTHING to the Bush Library. Democrats and Republicans alike. This man has done enormous damage to the Republican Party. His stain will last for decades to come.

May 3, 2008, 9:41 a.m.I'm on a Committee that is presently gathering signatures to name a Sewerage Treatment Plant after him in California..
Believe me, Texas will give him his library.

May 3, 2008, 12:35 a.m.So much for wanting his library to be bigger and better than his fathers. LOL!
Maybe he can find a few acres to spare in Paraguay!

May 3, 2008, 12:41 a.m.I doubt Neil or the twins would be happy to have a reminder of what they didn`t learn on their own property. Major downer for them.
However, considering the Moonies are building a family compound next door to the Bush`s and don`t mind blowing a billion on useless tripe, there is still hope.

May 3, 2008, 1:03 a.m.I would be willing to donate money to a war museum where Bush's crimes against humanity could be exhibited for the world to see.

May 3, 2008, 1:49 a.m.They could erect it on a very small island somewhere, to match his rather small brain.

May 3, 2008, 2:22 a.m.Yeah, What was the name of the Island we used for nuclear testing again? Perfect site for the GW Bush museum. Waste land for a wasted library. LOL

May 3, 2008, 1:52 a.m.I knew that American's didn't approve of him (latest poll hovering at 70%) and that many people in the WORLD didn't approve, but if NASA has it's way that will expand to the UNIVERSE.
IF there is other life in the Universe does ANYONE really want George W. Bush to be the first sign (they see) of intelligent life on Earth?
Come on, wouldn't that GUARANTEE a first strike (by them) to protect the Universe from ALL the stupid people on Earth?

May 3, 2008, 7:27 a.m.LOL!
I know how we can fix the US economy!
Bush himself will be located in the holding area of the Bush Presidential Porta-potty.
Bush's presidential toilet should be located conveniently near an airport so people could come from all over the world to wiz or take a dump on him. We could charge for use of the facility. I'm certain most people in the world would want to travel to use this facility! The money raised from such a venture would handily pay off the Iraq deficit because of the high demand and it would generally promote tourism. This would change Bush's legacy, as he finally would have contributed a useful service to the country and indeed the world!
What idiot would bother to visit his library? Maybe Larry Craig would set up shop in it's lavatory, but that's about it.

May 3, 2008, 1:57 a.m.Laura would be a great librarian, however.
I should imagine that for GWB a sensorama fart-chamber with echo-control would be far more entertaing - it could of course be budgeted as an add-on to this project.

May 3, 2008, 4:25 a.m.His library is already represented by David Letterman videos on Youtube anyway. Does he even need brick and mortar?

Laura could drive the shuttle to and from the airport to the libarary.

May 3, 2008, 7:39 a.m.Of course Tony Blair would want his own version of some kind official toilet, it might cut into the Bush Toilet's business.

May 3, 2008, 2:35 p.m.I had my heart set on a Bush II library in Montana and if not there then in Utah. I'm sooo disappointed. I guess I'll settle for closet space in the Quaker meeting house at the Hoover library.

May 3, 2008, 2:59 p.m.MajJohn: Just curious why Montana or Utah? Would that be Cowboy justice per chance? Then I'm all for it.
I don't think the Quaker's want the Bush library either.

May 3, 2008, 3:45 p.m.Q: Do you know where the books on Suicide are located in the Bush Library?
A: They should be right over here, but his entire cabinet and staff checked them out... they never came back.
Q: What is the difference between a Librarian in the Bush Library and a large pizza?
A: A large pizza can feed a family of four.

May 3, 2008, 4:17 p.m.If the powers that be found a place for the Clinton brothel, and Presidential Library I am sure they can find a place for President Bush's Presidential Library.
-

gamahuche
May 3, 2008, 7:16 p.m.Great thinking ani ok! Now perhaps you could expand your concept to suggest whether "the powers that be" would ensure that the Clinton brothel would attract more readers and the Bush "library" more wankers or vice versa?
Or do they have an even more perverse sense of humour?

May 4, 2008, 2:29 a.m.OK, now I'm confused. There's an internet article that the GWB Library is going to be housed as SMU.
http://www.smu.edu/newsinfo/announcements/
So is that where it's going to be or are they still working on a location?
BTW- if you want a REAL laugh try....
That's where you'll get (I kid you not)
"Welcome to the future home of the officious George W. Bush Presidential Library. This patriotic website will serve as an authoritative digital archive, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the godly legacy of the most honest, peaceful, and intelligent leader in the 6,000 year history of the planet Earth."
