Why not this antique piece just check in to some nursing home?

I thought that young thing on his arm was his nursemaid. Can we count on her to run the governement in his (mind's) absence? Or will she just start pouring money into beer conglomerates to end the Iraq war by getting everyone too drunk to fight.

Why not you check into an insane asylum?

Disrespect for elders? Must be a Democrat.

Are you getting this, Cons?

You might want to light up the switch board again.

Sweetie, we just want to get John elected. If the hispanics vote is helpful so be it. We can light up the switchboard in February. He is not the perfect candidate, but he is a damn sight better then the alternative.

After Bush and WMDs, Con judgment should be taken with a grain of salt. Maybe with a couple of shots of liquor too.

"After Bush and WMDs, Con judgment should be taken with a grain of salt."

Then what about the judgment of the Democrats in Congress who were howling about Saddam's WMD's for several years before Bush even took office? Seems a bit disingenuous to blame Bush when Pelosi herself was talking about WMD's in Iraq in December 1998, doesn't it?

What about them? They did not invade Iraq. Where does the buck stop with Cons?

Does this mean its ok for hispanics to vote, acording to what you say above?

I believe I've seen a few other threads where cons would like hispanics out of the country yesterday. Isn't this just a little bit hypocritical, allowing them to vote, presumely before you throw them out?

Also, I'm glad you agree that "John" isn't the perfect candidate.

Which would explain why he's 're-evaluated' his position on Hispanics and immigration since this is the SAME person who voted to make English as the official language of American.

What does courting Latinos have to do with the issue of English as the officila language of government? Nothing. The Democrats like to keep people of color on a leash and under the thumb so that the DNC can win elections.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Because if he actually CARED about the Latinos he would actually be working to IMPROVE their lives instead of just PANDERING for the vote.
Making English the "OFFICIAL LANGUAGE" of the United States means that ANY visitors to the United State (who isn't fluent in English) would be at a disadvantage if they found themselves in need of a doctor or the police. It would also mean that those on the ROAD to citizenship who haven't mastered English will ALSO be at a disadvantage in THEIR dealings with ANY government agency, doctor, school or business.
You can only vote, and speak for yourself. Who's "we"?
