I believe that the Peoples votes should be counted both in Michigan and Florida! What ever the votes tallied, should be the delegates preference. It was not the Peoples fault that someone broke the rules. Every American has the right to have their vote counted!

Thanks not2needy!

Obama wasn't even on the Michigan ballot though tex, how can his votes be counted, when he wasn't even voted for?

You're very welcome tex.

there are so many more issues to get upset about this. Had Dean not disenfranchised Michigan and Florida ALL the candidates would likely have campaigned in them and we might have had totally different (and better?) candidates left now.

Also according to the rules set forth before the primaries he didn't even campaign in FL. He followed the rules of the game. Come on people, we have rules for a reason, even a three year old understands rules.

Except that the "Three year old" in the White House decided 7-1/2 years ago that the rules don't apply to him or his supporter. That's why the Republican Government in Florida and the Republicans on Propeller don't understand what the big deal is.

Hell, even the RNC choose to IGNORE it's position and decided to "PENALIZE" FL, SC, MI, NH, WY instead of not seat.

You know if the RNC HAD held it position (like the DNC) "Amazed" would be right "we might have had totally different (and better?) candidates left now."

only a COMPLETE LIBSCAPE PARTISAN LIBERAL EXTREMIST could somehow spin this into a "hate Bush" its all the evil Republicans fault comment.

PATHETIC.

This is YOUR problem, not ours.

Oh Coffeebreath...

You know I cant resist. Its kind of like driving by a train wreck, ya know?

well you do have lots of experience at driving train wrecks, you have been on one for the last 7 years...LMAO

If I drove by a train wreck I wouldn't stop to take pictures, I could sell, look to point fingers, or gloat, ..I would get out and help..

I think you are taking my analogy a bit to seriously Coffeebreath, but I expect nothing less from you.

That wasn't an analogy. It was a metaphor.

bottom line: you're shooting at fish in a barrel and you don't care which fish you hit because they're all democrats.

You're easy to understand.

actually, raats has a point, also.

raats: There is much that they do not understand, including the seriousness of our economy and the suffering of others.

the dem party made the candidates promise not to campaign in florida...obamas campaign shouldnt be punished for that

the suggested split in story was reasonable compromise that slightly favored hillary and its still not enough

Hillary, like Bush, believes herself to be above the rules. She got more votes in Florida not because of name recognition, but rather because she actively campaigned there.

avatar
Reply

For whatever reason she got them, if she did not see the disadvantage of dis-enfranchisement and couldn't convince the DNC not to do so, or Florida not to jump the rules, then how is she supposed to be a convincing world leader???

I have always respected her (to a degree), liked her (to a point) and respected her politics, but the world will see, once the dust settles that she handled this all wrong and is now compounding her failures to have been pro-active when the irons were hot! (as they say)

Even though Hillary likely got more votes in Florida due to name recognition, I could accept those votes as counting, however, in Michigan, Obama's name wasn't even on the ballot. The compromise solution is more than fair.
