Israel has survived in spite of the enemies who seek to destroy this legally created state. the Jewish occupants have a history of being there for thousands of years long before there would be the present conflict. It is the only democracy in the Middle East and has done miracles with the land it has. It created farms and greenery out of the Negev desert, it has some of the finest educational and research institutions in the world. Yet its neighbors wish to destroy it from nonprogressive misguided hate. Israel's enemies only hurt themselves in the long run by letting their hate overcome common sense. as Golda Meir said, 'When they love their children more than they hate Israel, there will be peace. Also, "If the Arabs lay down their guns there will be peace. If the Israelis lay down their guns, there will be a lot of dead Israelis

1. The creation of Israel violated the UN charter and was only achieved by threats and corruption. Zionist corruption in the US that led to threats and buying of votes of our latin american starapies. The terms of the partition were violated before, during and after the vote on partition. The partition should be declared null and void by the UN.

2. At the time the zionists started their ideology of the "master race", "living space" and genocide for "subhumans" in eastern europe (the 1880s), the jewish population in palestine was about 40,000 and vastly outnumbered by other groups, many of whom were descendents of those already in palestine when the jews invaded for the first time.

3. Israel has NEVER been a democracy. It has always been racist and discriminated in favor of a minority ethnic group (even today only 35% of palestinians are jewish).

4. Long before zionists arrived in palestine it was famous for agricultural poroduce, especially fruit, even strawberries. Zionist "success in farming" is largely based on theft of land and water from palestinians.

5. Zionist ideology is closely related to nazi ideology, sharing ideas of "master race", "subhumans", "living space for the master race" and "ethnic cleansing or genocide for subhumans". This is why zionists collaborated so closely with the nazis (even killing jews to pursue their racism).

In his book, Ben Gurion's Scandals, Mr. Giladi discusses the crimes committed by Zionists in their frenzy to import raw Jewish labor. Newly-vacated farmlands had to be plowed to provide food for the immigrants and the military ranks had to be filled with conscripts to defend the illegitimately repossesed lands.....

Naeim Giladi: "I write this article for the same reason I wrote my book: to tell the American people, and especially American Jews, that Jews from Islamic lands did not emigrate willingly to Israel; that, to force them to leave, Jews killed Jews; and that, to buy time to confiscate ever more Arab lands, Jews on numerous occasions rejected genuine peace initiatives from their Arab neighbors. I write about what the first Prime Minister of Israel called 'cruel Zionism'. I write about it because I was part of it."

During the Al-Aqsa intifada we have witnessed an evolving phenomenon of the exploitation of teenagers and children by various terrorist organizations in order to perpetrate terrorist attacks, among them suicide attacks against Israeli civilian and military targets. Children and teenagers between the ages of 11 and 18 have over the past few months carried out suicide and other terrorist attacks in which innocent Israeli civilians have been killed and injured. In addition, Israeli security forces apprehended a considerable number of these teenagers and children prior to the perpetration of the terrorist attacks. Terrorist organizations exploit the innocent look of children and teenagers, which does not arouse suspicion and enables them to blend into populated areas. In addition, these children and teenagers, who have not yet reached adulthood, are more susceptible to the terrorist organizations' influence and the recruitment of suicide bombers.

In the struggle waged by our underground organizations before 1948 and during our War of Independence, boys and girls played an important part. The arms training of Palestinian boys is no different from the training of our own Gadna youth battalions. The boy who, in 1948, destroyed a Syrian tank at kibbutz Deganya has become a national hero. "VIDEO - A Mickey Mouse-like character is making regular appearances on Hamas's al-Aqsa TV to teach Palestinian children that Islam will "dominate the world," the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) organization said in a press release. Sections of the video are available for viewing on PMW's website.

"The squeaky-voiced Mickey Mouse look-alike, named Farfur, is the star of a weekly children's program called Tomorrow's Pioneers on the official Hamas TV station," PMW said, adding that the character takes "every opportunity to indoctrinate young viewers with teachings of Islamic supremacy, hatred of Israel and the US and support of 'resistance' â;; the Palestinian euphemism for terror."

Walt Disney's daughter today described Hamas as "pure evil" for creating a television show in which a Mickey Mouse-style character encourages violent resistance to Israel and the US.

The al-Aqsa television station of Hamas, which dominates the Palestinian government, started showing Tomorrow's Pioneers last month. It is hosted by a presenter called Farfur, who dresses in a Mickey Mouse suit.

He advises children to drink their milk as well as encouraging what Israeli critics have described as "hate-filled propaganda" against the "Zionist occupation" of Palestine.

In one clip which has appeared on YouTube, a young viewer speaking to Farfur by telephone recites a poem which includes the lines: "Rafah sings 'Oh, oh' Its answer is an AK-47".

On the way to school, children learn who the heroes are. In most of the world, streets, public buildings and schools are named after presidents, great musicians, scientists, and others who are to serve as role model for children. Palestinian towns such as Yaabid) named their most important street and schools after former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, January 4, 2007] One of the numerous examples of schools named after terrorists is the Dalal Mughrabi School, which honors Dalal Mughrabi, who killed American photographer Gail Rubin and 36 Israelis. [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, December 14, 2004] Before the children open a book, they already know who is to be emulated.

Jews, whose legitimacy in Israel has been denied in the texts are further demonized as killers with genocidal intentions. Literary selections such as the following fill the texts at all levels. Your enemies killed your children, split open your women's bellies, held your revered elderly men by the beard, and led them to the death pits. (National Education, Grade 7 (2001), p. 20) Following the storyline of Farfur, Palestinians and Arabs are the victims and bear no responsibility for the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe) even though it was five Arab nations that attacked Israel. (Islamic Education, Grade 9, Part 1 (2003), p. 62) The textbooks present violence and martyrdom as the desired response to the "injustices" imposed by Israel. Twelve-year-olds learn that "The martyr's rank is above all ranks." (Our Beautiful Language, Grade 7, Part 1 (2001), p. 97) and as early as first grade, children recite:

Israelis are disparaged as "Zionist gangs," "colonial imperialists," and "racists." Palestinian youth are exhorted to fight Israel, not only for political gains but for religious Jihad. The battle for Israel is called "Ribat for Allah," (the place to fight Islam's enemies) and "Ribat for Palestine" is the ultimate of religious goals. With an increased religious aspect of the struggle, martyrs are violent liberation are praised. In Arabic language classes, students read:

O my homeland, I would not cry in this wedding party

For our Arabness refuses that we cry over the martyrs p. 13

I swear by Al-Aqsa Mosque and those plains

I shall not return the sword to its sheath and shall not lay down arms.

School outings and after school programs solidify the indoctrination to hate. This month Palestinian children were treated to an exhibition of Israel burning children in a crematorium.

The European Jews don't have a history of being in the region of thousands of years. There's an article in yesterday's L.A. Times that shows that the Palestinians are finally starting to get smart about their situation. The solution that alot of the intellectuals are pushing is the One State solution. Indeed, that will really force their hand and the hand of its bitch: The American government. Now, the zionist will trapped into an apartheid state or accept the Palestinains as equal citizens, which will change the nature of that country considering that there will be more Arabs than zionist. August 1995, Istanbul, Turkey. A bombing of Istanbul's popular Taksim Square injured two U.S. citizens. This attack was part of a three-year-old attempt by the PKK to drive foreign tourists away from Turkey by striking at tourist sites.

August 21, 1995, Jerusalem, Israel. A bus bombing in Jerusalem by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) killed four, including American Joan Davenny, and wounded more than 100.

November 9, 1995, Algiers, Algeria. Islamic extremists set fire to a warehouse belonging to the U.S. Embassy, threatened the Algerian security guard because he was working for the United States, and demanded to know whether any U.S. citizens were present. The Armed Islamic Group (GIA) probably carried out the attacks. The group had threatened to strike other foreign targets and especially U.S. objectives in Algeria, and the attack's style was similar to past GIA operations against foreign facilities.

Since September 2000 the security forces are witnessing the cynical use by terror organizations of the Palestinian medical resources in general and of ambulances in particular, assuming they are 'immune' to security checks at checkpoints.

The use by the terrorist organizations of medical resources, particularly ambulances, in order to bypass the searches and security checks in IDF checkpoints emphasizes the need for a security check of medical vehicles. Such searches are conducted in order to ensure that ambulances are not used by terrorists in an attempt to transport terrorists, weaponry and explosive devices.

Last week, an Israeli television station aired footage of armed Arab terrorists in southern Gaza using an ambulance owned and operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. Palestinian gunmen used the UNRWA emergency vehicle as getaway transportation after murdering six Israeli soldiers in Gaza City on May 11. The footage shows two ambulances with flashing lights pull onto a street. Shots and shouts ring out during the nighttime raid. A gang of militants piles into one of the supposedly neutral ambulances, clearly marked "U.N." with the agency's blue flag flying from the roof, which then speeds away from the scene.

The Israeli Army found an explosive belt and two wanted men inside an ambulance operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent, confirming suspicions that Palestinian ambulances and aid workers are being used to promote terrorist attacks in Israel.

A search of the Palestinian ambulance stopped on March 27, 2002 turned up two men identified as having direct links to terrorist organizations, the Israeli Army said. An explosive vest similar to those worn by suicide bombers was discovered hidden under a stretcher. The Palestinian Red Crescent is the equivalent of the Red Cross and is an internationally recognized emblem denoting Palestinian emergency rescue vehicles.

> The solution that alot of the intellectuals are pushing is the One State solution.

This reminds me an old joke about a man telling his friend that he was going to marry the Queen of Britain. "It's already 50% arranged: I AGREE!".

You see, Abu, TWO sides must agree to marry each other for a marriage to happen. Now consider this:

If someone told you "I hate you. I'm going to kill you and all your family members. I'll take your home, your properties and all your possessions. LET'S GET MARRIED!"...

Would you agree? I would not and so will Israel. The answer to a "one state marriage" is a definitive NO.

Read the Goddamn article. It makes a helluva lot of sense. All Mr. Abbas has to do is disolve the Palestinian Authority and then the zionist entity would have make a choice. Either incorporate the palestinians into Israel, with full equal rights or occupy the West Bank and Gaza and have an apartheid state on their hands. Perfect political idea if you ask me

avatar
Reply

I do not see any reason for Israel to take responsibility for the Palestinian Arabs in case they'll "disolve the Palestinian Authority". As a matter of fact, it's up to them (the Palestinians) to decide how they're willing to govern themseleves. They have the very same right for self-determination the Israelis have.

The only choice Israel does and will have to make is how to fight Palestinian and other terrorists in the most effective way for as long they their leaders (be it Palestinian Authority or anything else) are willing the war to continue. If and when the Palestinian leaders will decide to end the war and negotiate a peace agreement Israel will not refuse. It's that simple.

Israel is such a small territory of land and small population to warrant all the attention it receives from the Arabs and the rest of the world. The Palestinians would do better if instead of accepting Charity and Arms from their Arab brothers, they would invest in an economy. Working in a shioe factory is not as exciting as lobbing bombs, but it holds a greater future (than suicide) for ones's children.

Whenever there's a breakthrough towards peace, there is action on both sides which clearly demonstrates that neither side wants peace. We should give up this seasonal farce of a movement toward a two-state solution. Israel should simply expand its borders to include the occupied territories and make UN supervised accomodations for the Palestinians it takes into its borders.

avatar
Reply

> Israel should simply expand its borders to include the occupied territories and make UN supervised accomodations for the Palestinians it takes into its borders.

As I've explained above the answer is NO. Accepting all Palestinian Arabs into Israel will make them Israeli citizens creating Arb majority if Israel and transforming Israel into another Arab state where neither Jews not other minorities are not welcome and do not have equal rights with the Arab majority.

avatar
Reply

Ok, smart motherf'er, what is your solution? I bet I already know what it is

avatar
Reply

My solution? Israel should finish the wall/fence separating it from the West Bank and Gaza; remove all Israeli settlements from behind the wall; declare that the territories there are the Palestinian state.

This will achieve several goals: First, the Palestinians will get a state they, apparently, are asking for. Second, the Palestinian leadership will find itself in a state of war with Israel and will have to ask for peace or deal with the consequences. Third, if and when the Palestinian leadership will realize that in order to improve the situation it's necessary to stop violence and NEGOTIATE a better deal a peaceful solution will become possible.

avatar
Reply

This is pretty much what is already happening.

avatar
Reply

Not at all. The wall/fence is not completed yet. There are Israeli settlements behind that wall. There is no official Arab Palestinian state. Israel continues to be in an awful position of a state fighting a non-state and somehow being deemed responsible for the welfare of its inhabitants.

avatar
Reply

There will never be a peace deal unless the zionist allow the palestinians that fled the fighting, 1948, return to their rightful property. Secondly, if you read the article about the one state solution in Thursday's L.A. Times you'll see that the current zionist government is afraid that the Palestinians will do just that

avatar
Reply

> you'll see that the current zionist government is afraid that the Palestinians will do just that

I'm afraid that the current zionist government is afraid of the Palestinian proposal to about the same degree the Queen of Britain was afraid of the guy I've mentioned in my joke above.

Let me explain it to you again: it's up to Israel to decide who will and who will not be allowed to settle there. As long as the Palestinians reject a peaceful solution the war will continue and one day Israeli patience will end; then the number of Palestinians killed in an average day will increase from TWO (as it was for the last eight years or so) to TWO THOUSAND or more.

At that point the Palestinians will have two choices: BEG FOR PEACE OR BECOME HISTORY.

Actually since the zionists violated the conditions of the UN partition from day one by ethnic cleansing christians and moslems, the world should just declare the partition null and set up a single state in palestine.

My point is to not argue. My point is to understand the claims from both sides. As long as both sides "stick to their guns", they will contine t live in a state of siege. Overturning the regimes in Syria, Iraq and Iran will not yield a lasting peace. Characterizing the Christian Fundementalists and Islamists as wanting to help God by speeding up Armageddon will not yield dialogue.

Below is the short summary of the claims from both sides:

Israel claims that it has the right to exist in peace and security as a sovereign independent state.

The Palestinian Arabs, most Arab states and some non-Arab states like Iran claim that Israel should be destroyed.

Is it a satisfactory answer?

avatar

Of course there is a legal basis for return of christians and moslems ethnic cleansed by zionists. In fact, the UN has already noted that the zionists broke the conditions of the "partition" before, during and after and has recognized that 5 million palestinian christians and moslems have the right to return to the homes and property. Furthermore, the UN has detailed lists of the land and property stolen from them by zionists.
