Cindy McCain's Fortune Traced To Organized Crime

Politics – John and Cindy McCain's personal fortune traces back to organized crime in Arizona through Cindy's father, James Hensley, a convicted felon with ties the Mob. The family business, Hensley & Co was bestowed upon James Hensley by Kemper Marley, the mobster believed to be responsible for the car bombing of investigative journalist Don Bolles.

And here is the "Arizona Project" that was started after the car bombing of Don Bolles(extremely long, and in pdf for most if it) http://www.ire.org/history/arizona.html

This submission is trash.

However, it "downholds" the standards we have come to expect from the paid staff of Propeller. Consistency is perhaps their only virtue.

It's pretty accurate. Cindy's father was involved with the Mob, and was convicted for it even... Doesn't mean John or Cindy themselves were involved. But her family fortune most definitely came from dealings with organized crime.

As you say, "Doesn't mean John or Cindy themselves were involved." But, while you admit that you are unable to attribute any connection to organized crime to either the candidate or his spouse, you still will post this drivel.

What you are engaged in is generally referred to as "the politics of personal destruction," a phrase used by Hillary Clinton to describe the attacks on her husband while he was President. It is an attempt to smear the candidate without actually being able to produce any evidence of wrongdoing on his part.

I began this primary campaign as a supporter of John Edwards. When he abandoned the race, I switched to Sen. Obama, primarily because he showed promise of leaving this "old politics" behind and campaigning on the real issues facing our nation and our people. Perhaps he will be able to change the way things are done, but your submission shows how pervasive the old ways have become.

Take a look at what Dorothy Wickenden, Executive Editor of "The New Yorker," has to say about this.

Similar to what the Swiftboaters did to Kerry in '04, huh...

It is certainly along those lines.

Your comment seems to suggest that because one group unfairly attacked Sen. Kerry four years ago, others are now justified in making similar attacks on Sen. McCain. I will accept such a suggestion as evidence of your personal dishonesty, moral vacancy, and intellectual corruption.

The assumption on your part about my comments is totally wrong, 1-2-Oscar.

Because one group did it 4 years ago to Kerry does not justify similar attacks on McCain or anyone else.

There...I retain my honesty, high moral standards and my intellectual insights...LOL...

No, it is actually true. Of course, having a father in law who was involved in the mob doesn't not in any way make McCain a mobster.

The Kennedy family became wealthy during prohibition through patriarch Joseph Kennedy's rum running. That didn't make JKF or Bobby bootleggers either.

Why am I not surprised?

I suspect the old saying might apply; "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

There's no surprise here. She's a typical elitist republican!

If you think that McCain will be a good president, I've3 got a bridge I can sell you. McCain knows all about his wife's finances and he supports her decision not ot release tax returns. What is she hiding?

Hmph! No wonder she was so reticent about showing her books the other day. You don't have to be in Denmark to know something smells rotten in it.

It's from World Net Daily.

It's got "The Con Seal of Approval".

Yeah i found that part to be the most priceless, this McCain piece isn't coming from DailyKos, or Huffingtonpost. This is coming from a conservative website, that gets posted by the Right-wingers here all the time...

Thanks for submitting this Aidenag.

Republicans need to wake up, clear the fog and admit that all is not roses in the McCain household.

There was a reason the majority didn't support him in 2000, and also a reason they didn't want him to be the nominee this time around. Always follow your first mind, everything else is a mistake.

Special Interests run his campaign, organized crime supplied is lifestyle, he dumps the wife who waited for him for one with money, he wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years. Kinda sums up the Republican "family" values.

FTA- John and Cindy McCain's personal fortune traces back to organized crime

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THAT would explain why she doesn't want to release her tax returns. She doesn't want anyone to discover EXACTLY how much she's involved.
For NOW they can claim (as are many of the contributors here) "just because her DAD is involved doesn't mean she is." Of course, the tax records would PROVE whether or not she's involved and since she WON'T release them that tells me that that they DON'T want the truth to come out.
It will be organized crime when you see how bad Mccain whoops Obama in November.
Keep sucking down that koolaid sparky! The senile and elitist old man will go down in flames along with a number of Republican Congressmen and a few Senators!
You neoclown jerks had 14 years of basically unfettered rule and managed to trash this Nation worse that even Hoover and the Republican House and Senate did. You had the chance to really do something positive for both the Nation and its citizens and instead chose to embark on a path of graft, corruption, and criminal activity the likes of which this Nation has never seen before!
Reality, yes that word that you neoclowns have no concept of, is that the Republicans are going to be relegated, once again to the status of a minority party. A distinction you have held far longer than any other Party in the history of this great Nation and justifiably so!
btw - yes it will be a crime if McCain wins - it's the only way he can!
