Politics – In case you've been too consumed by the Democratic race to notice, Republicans are getting crushed in historic ways both at the polls and in the polls. Things are so bad that many people don't even want to call themselves Republicans.
If you go back, and read what was said in early 2004, Democrats said the same thing. The war, and the economy is going badly, we win. If Republicans were running against anyone but Democrats I would agree. They are still trying to prove their candidate of choice is not a muslim, two articles today, and this should have been cleared up long ago. I don't know how many Americans disbelieve Obama, but 20% of Democrats believe Obama is a former Muslim, and attends the closest thing to a Muslim mosque there is, the Afrocentric TUCC on the south side of Chicago.

FTA: "For now, Republicans are heartened by how well McCain sometimes does in head-to-head polling with Barack Obama, the likely Democratic nominee. But it's silly to watch those numbers: They fluctuate and reflect nothing more than momentary feelings about the candidates, and they come at a time when public attention is fixed on the final rounds of the Democratic slugfest."
I love it when the right wing loonies that infest this site crow about current polls and implying that McBush will win in November. McBush is so smart, that he's running as a repug. It might be better for him if he ran as a child molester.
