What the GOP doesn't seem to realize, because they are idiots, is that "the change you deserve" is the registered advertising slogan of Effexor XR, a drug that many of you might have started taking as a result of all the...you know -- terrorism.

"when the Food And Drug Administration reviewed the ad copy that included the tagline, "The change you deserve," it took issue with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, which manufactures Effexor, saying that the company made "unsubstantiated superiority claims." Sounds like the GOP have picked an ironically accurate tagline for their efforts!"

At least the GOP is good for a laugh i guess. Trying to latch onto the change theme, and hijack it from Obama really shows how scared they are of him.

"The new GOP slogan -- 'The Change You Deserve' -- was discovered to be trademarked ad copy for the antidepressant drug Effexor. 'Democrats, not drugs, is what the American people need,' Hoyer (D-MD) said. Referring to Effexor side effects, Hoyer said, 'Nausea, up to 58%. Actually it's higher than that for Republicans.'

'Are depression symptoms keeping you from where you want to be?' Effexor's maker, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, asks in its promotions. 'Not feeling as good as you used to?'

For House Republicans, the diagnosis is obvious: They are suffering from Election Anxiety Disorder. Tuesday night, they lost the third special election in a row to Democrats in heavily Republican congressional districts. 82% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track, and they're largely holding President Bush and his party responsible."
