McCain really did pick some fine upstanding lobbyists to work for his campaign. I mean i know its hard to pick a 'clean' lobbyist since most are dirtier then Richard Nixon(hence why i like candidates who don't hire lobbyists). But come on, did he not even look at these guys pasts before picking them?

I can only imagine what his cabinet would like look if he should become president..

We think we have a mess now, just think what it would be under a McCain presidency!

Gee - That doesn't require much thought as a McCain presidency would simply be a continuation of Bush's with perhaps an even quicker trigger finger.

You're right, Aidenag, though I think McCain knows these guys pasts all too well. His advisers are pretty much the same people that got Bush elected, including, under cover of blackest night, Rove.

Obviously, there are lobbyists that represent groups that in turn represent The People, but for the most part "clean lobbyist" is an oxymoron.

Ummmm you;re forgetting the current bozo picked a gay male prostitute as deserving of press credentials. Checking pasts deosnt seem to be a priority if your REPUBLICAN, look at Brownie couldn;t make sure horses got feed but was put in charge of FEMA, your REPUBLICANS who never had ANY business experience are given the task of rebuilding Iraq, law students who value the bible over the COnstitution are hired for the Justice Dept. Wheres the surprise here? That junta in Burma has to be a Republican dream, onl.y what they approve gets aired.

"law students who value the bible over the COnstitution"

They don't. They value a modern, 'evangelical', dogmatic interpretation of the Bible not supported by scholarship, HCM, scripture or the example of Christ over the constitution.

I know what it won't look like: A bigoted racist mentor/pastor/like-an-uncle, a former domestic terrorist pal, Hamas supporters or a sleazebag neighbor/benefactor, all of which Obama can claim ;)

that has to be the most smears in a single sentence ever. congrats Libs...

By your logic, there should be a cocaine dealer, a Saudi prince, a covicted lobbyist, the same sleazebag neighbor, several anti-semetic mentors/pastors, etc. in bush's cabinet

For all we know given the secrecy of this administration there already are!

In McCain's cabinet, you'd have Charles Keating, 58 lobbyists, an anti-semetic, america hating pastor, and possible mob members connected to his wife's father's business.

I have long supported John McCain and do not want anything in my past business career - whether properly depicted or not - to distract the Senator's campaign," >>>>

Sooo, what does that mean? He was right to represent a firm that worked for murderers, human rights violators, oppressors? How could his affiliation with these slobs be "properly depicted?" The more I learn, the more I realize we are in the grips of a seriously evil bunch.

He is being surrounded by the worst of the worst. The extreme right wing of this country. He has already been recruited by the PNAC crowd.

Wow!!! We don't want slimeballs like that releasing propaganda about what McCain is all about. I don't even want slimeballs like that in the U.S. period.

I was listening to a Christian radio station yesterday and they said freedom in society is very rare. That we have to be willing to fight to keep it. for someone will always want to take it from us.

I think that includes our stinking perverted slimeball politicians in our government. Look what Bush and his ilk are doing.

I say no to the neocons and no to the extreme left.

Let freedom ring and keep the greedy lying basta*ds out .

There will be nothing remotely resembling democracy until the undue influence of special interests is removed. A vote for McCain is a vote for Lobbyists and failed Bush policies.

I totally agree, RFE.

The twist.

Burma Lobbyists where probably trying to stop this:

Congressional Gold Metal Medal:

Timeline:

Cyclone hits Burma (Myanmar).

Our President signs CGM and then speaks of relief.

She seems like a brave and beautiful woman.

But my finger is wagging in three directions.

Man, things are really shaking out here for McCain lately. All of these disclosures remind me of the parasite creatures that fall off the monster in Cloverfield.

At least he still has Rupert Murdoch on his side. http://tv.propeller.com/story/2008/05/12/whos-t...

This is really so unfair to McCain. What is he supposed to do? He has to draw his staff from the New RepugniCons. Where is he supposed to find anyone with clean hands in that den of thieves?
