Fitting the norm is not required for voting, ani, and requirements to vote that incur a financial cost are not gonna make it thru the courts.

The Supreme Court already upheld the voter photo ID law:

They upheld the Indiana photo id requirement because the id is free.
The S C ruled it is constitutional to ask for a picture ID. If you don't want to do that, don't vote. They are not going to play games with the law. Abide by it, or don't, but there are consequences. You can't vote!!
If it is free. I am not advocating breaking the law ani, I am advocating discretion in making UNNECESSARY laws that will NOT protect our electoral process but WILL create a burden on qualified voters. Give me concrete, proved examples of why this is needed, please, and stop with your attitude already. Saying "that's the way it is" when it's just a law that can be changed at any time is insufficient. Come on, give me some real reason to support this and I will. So far I have seen none, and I even went looking because of this story.
Anyone who spent 25 years in Chicago, many of them as a volunteer in the Precincts will tell you Democrats will pull any and all types of fraud. There are Democrats as poll watchers, a cop who is a trusted Democrat voter, if you complain they will take you before a Democrat Judge, so you don't complain. They all knw the fraud is taking place you can see it, but there is nothing you can do. Nothing
You are saying you witnessed voter fraud and did nothing because of the political party of the cops and judge? That there was nothing you could do in America? And your solution is another freakin' card?? Give over. If everyone in Chicago is a Democrat, why in the world would fraud be necessary, or even advantageous??
The Supreme Court has already ruled that needing a photo I D card is constitutional. It was ruled on months ago. The State of Illinois gave me a photo I D free when I applied for a duplicate lisence.
You can get a State id in VA at the DMV but it costs $10, and you have to have a birth certificate or passport and a bill or bank statement or a piece of official VA or US (tax return, etc) mail mailed to your address to get it EVEN IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE ISSUED BY THE SAME DMV! It's idiotic.
