Politics – This record of the Bush administration's performance on international matters - a factual accounting of the Bush legacy - helps explain why 81% of the American people presently say that our country is headed in the wrong direction.
what makes you think hillary is going to clean up after him?
She's as inside as a washington insider can get. She has the most pork on the 09 budget $2.3 Billion just to payback all of her doners. Imagine all the promises she's made just to make it this far. She's gonna owe so much to so many if she makes it that nothing will change.
And, HIllary's stand on Iran has been in lock step with Bush and the NeoCons. Don't expect her to be keeping us out of the next war, just like she didn't keep us out of the last war.
Understanding Bush is not that hard if you try. One merely has to take into account his family history and the words he uses.
His Grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a tire salesmen helped into a postion (after marriage)) at Brown Brothers Harriman where he laundered money for the Nazis. Later his assets were frozen by the U.S Government. There were allegations that he was involved in a plot to overthrow FDR and our government in favor of a fascist regime. He was obviously angered that our government could do such things like "freeze assets" for "trading with the enemy." He was a social climber and elitist that did not hold the values of average Americans.
President Bush was quoted as saying "Don't misunderestimate me." Most people laughed at his obvious grammar, but what he meant was "You cannot estimate how despicable I can be." Look at the pictures of him, especially 9/11 when he was supposed to be "surprised."
Most people that vote Republican simply do not inquire about their candidate. I know because regrettably I voted Republican for the first 12 years of my voting life.
I have a cousin who is Christian and votes Republican. It's amazing because somehow he thinks Bush is a Christian. When I bring up that Bush is a Methodist whose beliefs are in the "sacraments" he say's "Yeh, well you know."
The "Yeh, well you know" is the denial mechanism within a Republican voter when confronted with the facts.
You could say- How could Bush authorize torture of people and claim to be Christian. Answer: "Yeh, well you know"
How could Bush kill Iraqi women and children and claim we are fighting terorists? Do you think all those people dying are terrorists? Where's Bin Laden? Answer "Yeh, well you know"
And Nancy Pelosi has pushed hard, screaming and shouting and trying every trick in her arsenal as Speaker to get us out of the war or stop the burdenous spending? It is not just one party. It is both parties and all those who are married to them.
I know there will be those who come here and neg this comment and deny that it is so. Those will be the 'party before country' people I speak of.
I won't neg your comment.
I am past fed up with Pelosi and her 'leadership'. She has squandered the opportunity for the Democrats to really DO something about the war and about Bush and Cheney and all of the crimes that they have committed.
I don't know if Cindy Sheehan is going to run against Pelosi this year, but I hope she does. Pelosi needs to be reminded that she is supposed to be serving the people and not herself.

Hey, where are all the Bush shills and other righties that usually pollute Propeller? You know who you are. Hightower presents here unrefutable fact establishing the Bush regime as among the world's most vile and notorious criminals. Why aren't you regressives stepping up to the plate to defend your boy? I sort of miss your fact denying and history revising with my morning coffee.
