Nice try. A vote for Barr is a vote for a Democrat. Nothing has changed with respect to my feeligs for McCain. He is at least answerable to a Conservative core of the Republican Party. The Dems don't have a Conservative constituency with a voice.
Been asking Dems to have some principles for years. The Libertarian Party is an uncoordinated agglomeration of people who vary from nearly anarchists to Right Wingers. It will never have the cohesion necessary to be successful as a movement in itself, although I'm grateful for it's intellectual contribution to the Republican Party. The Conservatives really don't have an alternative to the Republican Party unless we want to be permanently marginalized.
I don't get it. Why can't you use the same philosophy when you discuss the rest of the world?
So, you must follow the republicans even though the party strays from conservative principles, but when a person who strays from the liberal ideology still follows the Democrats you call them a liberal?
So, not all Republicans are conservative, but all democrats, and anyone who questions George Bush, opposes the Iraq occupation, is against outsourcing OR wants a balanced budget is a liberal??
as often as Hannity, Ann Coulter, and Rush flip-flop, is it any wonder they are supporting McCain?
Can you see and hear the cons flip floping on Global Warming, on the war?
Conservatism is just a ball and chain on progress, they worship the status quo and worship the mogals and kings who profit from the status quo.
There is no one or nothing they won't kill or destroy to make their money, the rest is just distraction.
They are expecially adept at hiding behind religious "morality" as rational for hording their money and power.
What lies about Conservatives. When you actually see a Conservative in the Republican leadership, maybe you can comment on them.
This is directed at all who claim to be conservative but still trust the Republican leadership!
The Republicans are too cowardly to elect a true conservative..Your last real conservative was Newt.
They are a sad lot! They're not even good at pretending.
At least the moderates and mainstream liberals know who their extremists are! (Sharpton, Cucinich, Wright etc)
What's your excuse ?
The guys you still love now were just telling you to hate McCain for the last 7 years..What changed since February??
Fear???
If you have any shred of dignity and self respect you'd vote for Barr. (Bob, not Rosanne)

But you fools all rallied behind the biggest scam of a self-proclaimed conservative in American history.
George Bush has made a fool of the party and what was the meaning of conservatism, which is now synonymous with those who are easily fooled.
Can't you at least rally behind your principles for once?

In other words, you missed my point. I haven't agreed with the spending on the war myself so you're barking up the wrong tree here.
