Miss. win a bigger story than W. Va.?

Politics – So what event last night was more consequential: Obama's substantial defeat in a state few had considered a general election battleground until Clinton declared it so last week? Or the GOP losing a 3rd-straight special congressional election in what was considered a solid GOP seat -- this one a Miss. district where Bush won 62% of the vote in 2004?

Even though the Democrat who won, Travis Childers, is far more conservative than many Republicans his win doesn't bode well for the Republican Party in this years general election.

People are fed up with the empty promises and the constant pandering of the Republicans toward the corporate, religious, and special interest groups while the economy tanks and the prices for food, housing, and gas continues to escalate!
