The Obama Change We Really Can Believe In

Politics – Barack Obama's call to action is "Change we can believe in." I would love to believe it, but until now I haven't even been able to understand it. What is going to change?

FTA: "With his latest about face on direct talks with Iran's Ahmadinejad, Obama has finally clarified what he is going to change: his opinion. From terror to funding for tots, where there's controversy and two sides to be wooed, there is the Obama about-face."

Do-si-do and about-face we go...

FTA: "Reverend Wright: Didn't say it, didn't hear it, isn't accurate, is justifiable, is unacceptable

The number of opinion reversals on Reverend Wright are mind-spinning: his church is not especially controversial, he never heard the hate-speech, the snippets of the sermons are "caricatures peddled by some commentators," the pastor's remarks were akin to those made by Obama's white grandmother, rejecting the anti-American and anti-Semitic minister would be rejecting all of black America, and on and on. Obama thus courts the radical left by participating comfortably in its extremism and mollifies middle American with a range of excuses."

lol, talk about flip-flopping! He's just talking from both sides of his faces.

Double-speakery. Triple-speakery?

For the sake of Obama's children and potential future grand children, I hope he didn't and won't agree to change their diapers.

I changed them. I didn't change them. I changed them...

Kerry for VP. Then they can be on both sides of every issue, 24/7.

Maybe instead of "Hope and Change" he really means "Hope to Change"? As in "I hope to change my positions to whatever they need to be to get elected"...

McCain isn't too shabby in that department either, but Obama really pulls his about-faces off with elegance...you almost have to admire that level of glibberish.

Democrats are so bent on having Obama as pres., they can't or won't see him for what he truly is. He speaks of change, yet he acts as if he is going to continue with the same old routine: Tell them what they want to hear, and provide everyone with all they ask for. That is, during the campaign. After being elected, Obama will all of a sudden have a huge memory lapse. ANd then he will proceed to do what we know he will do, screw everything up even worse than it is now. And then he will start blaming everyone else. He is bad news...

I keep saying that he told you exactly what his campaign strategy was going to be in the prologue to his book

"I serve as a blank screen," Obama writes, "on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views." He notifies readers that "my treatment of the issues is often partial and incomplete."

Don't you wonder where Obama's money is coming from? Check it. It isn't nickels, and dimes from the commoners. He has foreign donors from Arab fund raisers. He has Nation of Islam advisers on his staff, but hey, if you question anything he is doing you are a racist. I will question him about his staff, his Pastor, his friendship with domestic bombers, and his new found Flag lapel pins (what a phony) He does not advocate one change for the middle class. Not one. It is a good thing they have their God to pray to, they might need him more then ever if this Arab sympathizer is elected President..

This candidate is not going to get away with his hope and change in the General election. He has to have a real vision, a real plan.

I dream of a place one day where the vision of change includes more than the politicians stature in life.

I dream of a place with big fish and women have bad eyesight.

Let's not forget the new piece with the pulpit and cross. Huckabee got crucified for Christmas but Obama gets a pass?

Yeah tbkennedy53, the cross thing made me laugh, too. Maybe it was just a bookshelf?

Err, is it cruel of me to point out that the new, official slogan of the Republican Party for 2008, is:

"Change You Deserve"?

And, significantly, it is also the trademarked slogan for an anti-depresant.

http://michellemalkin.com/2008/05/13/the-stupid...

But what does this phrase mean? Is it a threat? Are Americans going to get what is coming to them?

Are Republicans so angry at America they are threatening us now? Or are they just really, really depressed?
