The only chance the Republicans have is to resort to subliminal racism and character attacks. Unfortunately in this People Magazine/American Idol society these attacks work. They don't have to be factual just effective. Hillary is right, it would be a grave mistake to turn to McCain. But I wonder if she could really differentiate the differences between her and McCain on foreign policy. Very similar, very pro-Israeli policies that guarantee continued turmoil in the region. She is not that far from a neocon on FP.
