The main difference I see is that Obama may be an unknown quality, but what I've seen of McCain recently, he clearly represents the status quo.
I agree. I initially drafted a reply including the old "pig in a poke" idiom, but then I remembered that "pig," as in "racist pig," is reserved solely for the use of Obamans to describe us Clinton preferrers, so I discarded it.
