Actually, Qaddafi had made deals with the US long before Dubya was even a governor.
What Qaddafi wisely saw in Bush was a blank check (paid by us) waiting to happen if he just played Bush`s game.
When the Syrians and Iranians tried to join the WOT after 9/11 out of sympathy and disgust at what the terrorists did to so many innocents, Bush blew them off and now we may be going to war. Obama, and anybody with half a sense of brains and common sense between their shoulders, would have welcomed their unique intel on and access to terrorists.
Not Bush!
Oh, and Qaddafi sends his best saying, "thanks for paying and for being played".
