Actually "hispanics" is one of the stupidest classifications ever invented by ignorant americans. Which hispanics? We classify as "hispanics" people descended from portuguese and spanish families that would be considered "whites" if they had come directly from europe. The same is true for mideasterners: whites if they come directly from the mideast and "hispanics" if they are amongst the millions of mideasterners living in Latin America.

The very fact that such a classification exists simply demonstrates the extent to which racism is still hardwired into american society. Compare this to Brazil, where the earlier racism between "hispanics" and "blacks" has largely been overcome.

"Racism" still exists in America because it is a useful tool for corrupt polticians trying to keep us dumb and docile as they fleece us.
