Stating the obvious. Jesse jackson won the Southern States in past democratic primaries solely because he was black. Even Reverend Al managed to get 12% of the democratic vote in South Carolina, that's Reverend Al. I don't think any whites voted for him!
No. Everyone knew that he was black..duh. Now we have used race in the negative. Telling a whole group of black voters across all economic and educational and regional backgrounds that their vote is empty because most of them just followed a trend to vote for the black guy. (plus Jessie couldnt pull Barack's numbers in most states with a black population)
This is what happens in a country that cringes at the thought of race relations. Most people would rather have black america's history in this country swept under the rug like it never happened. Like it's over stop whinning about it. Or statements like let's be color blind! NO. We fail to embrace our cultures collectively and the end result America right now.
I just have one question though. Would you all tell the Jewish community to forget? Why do we have to stop? We can't have acceptance and growth until we are willing to really address reality that institutional racism is still here.
Obama--by being black--brought the race thing in the picture, all the blacks are voting for him, isn't that a race thing???
